ALBANY - Cora E. Cook, age 92, of Albany, passed away at the home of Robert and JoAnn Cook, on Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Cora was born on March 17, 1915 in Warick, Rhode Island, to Earl and Emma Moon. She married Robert H. Cook on October 18, 1933 in Warick, Rhode Island. They resided in Rhode Island for 41 years and then relocated to Albany, Wisconsin, and lived there for 36 years.

Cora worked as a waitress and retired in 1962. She was an active member of the Albany American Legion Auxiliary. She loved caring for the elderly, animals, spending time with family/friends, being outdoors including walking, and collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia. Her most recent memorable moment was attending a Billy Ray Cyrus concert at the age of 90.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Cathy) Cook, Port Charlette, Florida, and Robert (Joann) Cook, Albany; two daughters, Carol (Don) Wolfe, Albany, and Nancy Child, Albany; daughter-in-law, Terri Cook, Summerset, Massachusetts; 17 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert in 1991; a son, James in 2000; great-granddaughter, Bryonna Child in 2001; and great-grandson, Kevin Hazeltine in 2003.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. with the funeral to follow on Monday, February 11, 2008 at BIFULK FUNERAL HOME, ALBANY. Pastor Matthew Spoonhour of First Baptist Church, Monroe, will officiate with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Albany. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name and with those funds going to Hospice Care Inc. and Green County Humane Society.

We will always remember your loving, caring, young at heart, and jovial attitude towards life.
