EVANSVILLE - Conrada Johnson Hill, 69, passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born December 14, 1942 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Russell and Betty (Zimmerman) Johnson.

Conrada was married to Stephen Hill on April 25, 1981 in Milton.

She served in the Army from 1961 to 1962 as a dental assistant. Conrada was a 1977 graduate of Rollins College, Fla. She served for many years, as a teacher's assistant in the public schools and also taught on an Indian Reservation. Conrada's dream was to travel to Russia where she went twice. Conrada and Stephen spent 4 winters in Las Vegas where she loved to go to the casinos.

She is survived by her husband Stephen; sons Shane (Julie) Johnson of Aitkin, MN; and John (Jill) Hill of Janesville; daughters Laura (Tuffy) Wittnebel of Evansville; Britta Woollums-Johnson of Dania Beach, FL; and Stacey Hill Isbell of South Beloit; 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Paige (John) Sullivan of Rockton; Britta (Sharon Kolb) Johnson of Sun Prairie; Gweneth (Ronnie Lett) Johnson of Joplin, Missouri; and Stacey Sarakinis of Joplin, Missouri; brothers Loyal (Joyce) Johnson; and Carl (Sally) Johnson, both of Beloit; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great-grandson, Wyatt Simplot.

Funeral services will be held at Luther Valley Church, Town of Newark at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012, with Pastor Mary Froiland officiating.

Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Burial will be in Newark Cemetery.
