ORANGEVILLE - Clark R. Jordan, 74, of Orangeville, IL, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. He was born on May 20, 1935 in Oneco Township, IL to Loral and Luella (Lausch) Jordan. Clark married Jean Johnson on July 11, 1956 in Orangeville. He worked as an electrician for Highland Community College, retiring in 1999. He was a lifelong member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Orangeville Masonic Lodge 687 since 1978 and a member of The Scottish Rite.
He is survived by his wife, Jean; 4 children, Steven (Lynn) of Orangeville, Michael (Pam) of Pengilly, MN, Krystal Taylor (Mark Hoffmann) of Palatine, IL, and Eric (Nichole) of Monroe, WI; 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Mark, Scott, Amy, Kari and Gavin Jordan, and Joshua (Shannon) Golackson; a sister, Carol (Virgil) Leopold; brother, Bob (Sandy) Jordan.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a sister, Arlene Misner; and a granddaughter, Kendall Lynn Jordan.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Cramer-Leamon Funeral Home in Orangeville. Masonic rites will follow the visitation.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 6, 2009 at the Orangeville United Methodist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Oh.
Burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery in Freeport, IL.
