Misdemeanors

All charges against Alexander E. Guevara, 18, Chicago, related to a disorderly conduct charge filed August 28, 2010, were dismissed Feb. 1, 2011. The charges were not proven and have no legal effect. Guevara is presumed innocent.

Jeffrey T. Neubauer, 20, Monroe, was found guilty Feb. 8, after pleading no contest to fourth degree sexual assault, exposing genitals to child, and contributing to the delinquency of a child, and disorderly conduct, all stemming from a Feb. 15, 2009, incident. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail and four years of probation, and was ordered to pay

$483 in court costs.

Ryan M. Wealti, 19, Belleville, was found guilty Feb. 8, after pleading no contest to possession marijuana, from an Apr. 20, 2010, incident. He was fined $330.

Jillian Ann Gowen, 24, Monticello, was found guilty Feb. 8, after pleading no contest to retail theft less than $2,500, a class A misdemeanor, from an Oct. 2, 2010, incident. She was fined $515. The court also entered into a deferred prosecution agreement with Gowen, after she pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct from the same incident.

Orrin Hoyt Marsden, 18, Monroe, was found guilty Feb. 11 after pleading no contest to retail theft of less than $2,500 from a Nov. 12, 2010, incident. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined $243.

In another case, Marsden was found guilty after pleading no contest to battery, from an Oct. 28, 2010, incident. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, beginning Feb. 25 and to run concurrently with the above sentence, and fined $243.

The court Feb. 16 entered into a 12-month deferred prosecution agreement with Brittany L. Boeck, 18, Browntown, who pleaded no contest to one count of retail theft less than $2,500, from a May 20, 2010, incident. She was ordered to pay $20 in court costs. In another case, the court entered into a 12-month deferred prosecution agreement with Boeck, who pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a Sept. 28, 2010, incident. She was ordered to pay $163 in court costs.

Della M. Podoll Black, 33, of Westfield, WI, pleaded no contest to criminal damage to property on Feb. 22 related to an offense that occurred on April 22, 2011; and no contest to entry onto a building/construction site. Prosecution was deferred on the entry charge. Podoll was fined $372 for the criminal damage charge, according to court records.

Mary C. Kelley, 60, of Roscoe, Ill., was found guilty of three counts of possession of illegally obtained prescription drugs, on Feb. 22, related to an offense on April 9, 2009. She was sentenced to three years probation and ordered to pay court costs and probation-related charges.

Allister K. Porter, 28, of Brodhead, pleaded no contest to hit and run/unattended vehicle on March 14, for an offense that occurred on Nov. 24, 2010. Porter was fined $280.50.

Cody W. Johnson, 19, of Monroe, pleaded no contest to possession of drug paraphernalia for an offense that occurred on Feb. 9, 2011. Johnson was fined $263.50.

Eric J. King, 33, of Monroe pleaded no contest on Feb. 25 to Possession of THC for an offense that occurred on Sept. 21, 2010. He was fined $583.75.

Eric J. King, 33, of Monroe, pleaded no contest to a charge of bail jumping for an incident that occurred on Nov. 13, 2010. He was sentenced to 24 months probation.

Robert James Heins, Jr., 41, of Brodhead, pleaded no contest March 11 to OWI (2nd offense) related to an incident that occurred on Oct. 10, 2009. He was fined $966 and sentenced to 5 days jail time, servable under Huber Law program, a year of ignition interlock device; and a year's license revocation.

James K. Cowell, 45, of Monroe, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct on March 14, related to an incident that occurred on Nov. 17, 2010. Cowell was sentenced to 5 days in jail, servable under Huber Law program, and fined $343.

James K. Cowell, 45, of Monroe, pleaded no contest to OWI (4th offense) on March 14 for an incident that occurred on Nov. 17, 2010. Cowell was sentenced to 9 months in jail, servable under Huber Law program, 33 months license revocation, 30 months ignition interlock device, and fined $2,360.
