GREEN COUNTY
MISDEMEANORS
Danielle Marie Valentino, 26, Monroe, entered a deferred prosecution agreement Monday calling for one year of supervision after a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. The charge stemmed from an incident on June 14 when a man called the police after she struck him to prevent him from leaving a residence in the 1400 block of 21st Avenue in Monroe. As police could find no evidence that Valentino's intent was to cause bodily harm, she was not charged with domestic violence.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY
FELONIES
Bradley Corey Burgess, 18, Cuba City, was sentenced Wednesday to one year in prison and fined $518 after pleading no contest to a Class I felony charge of possession of methamphetamine. Burgess was charged after police were informed of a methamphetamine lab operated by members of the Latin Kings gang in a residence in the 28300 block of Wisconsin 11, Town of Benton. Burgess, who the informant said is a member of the Latin Kings gang, was two months into an 18-month prison sentence on a previous charge of selling methamphetamine. However, the informant alleged that when the lab was active, Burgess helped to sell and distribute the completed product. According to police records, the informant claimed to be a former Latin Kings member before being badly beaten by Burgess and his associates. Burgess' one-year sentence will run concurrent with the remainder of his 18-month sentence.
