Felonies

• The court Monday scheduled a June 30 district attorney conference for William A. Laube, 22, Brodhead, who is charged with possession of marijuana.

Court records allege he possessed 28 grams of marijuana Aug. 1 in a parking lot at a Monroe business. He was previously convicted of possession of marijuana in 2006.

He is charged with possession of marijuana, a class I felony. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,500 signature bond.

Misdemeanors

• The court Monday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a June 30 district attorney conference for Jeffrey L. Clarke, 46, Monroe, who stood mute to battery and disorderly conduct charges.

Court records allege he hit a man in the face and pushed a woman to the ground Dec. 28 in Monroe.

He is charged with battery and attempted battery, both class A misdemeanors, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces more than 16 months in jail and up to $16,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,000 signature bond.

• The court Monday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a June 30 district attorney conference for Ian A. Yehling, 39, Rockford, Ill. who is charged with resisting an officer and disorderly conduct.

Court records allege he yelled, pushed, kicked and fought with officers March 12 at Monroe Clinic.

He is charged with resisting an officer, a class A misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to one year in jail and up to $11,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $1,000 signature bond.

• The court Monday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a June 30 district attorney conference for Deanna K. Schultz, 38, Brodhead, who stood mute to a charge of unlawful use of the phone.

Court records allege she repeatedLY called a woman's phone and threatened her March 15 in Sylvester township.

She is charged with unlawful use of the phone, a class B misdemeanor. She faces up to three months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines, if convicted.

She remains free on a $500 signature bond.

• The court Monday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a June 30 district attorney conference for Quentin D. Jelle, 18, Belleville, who stood mute to possession of drug paraphernalia.

Court records indicate he had a smoking device to smoke marijuana in his possession March 24 in New Glarus.

He is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, an unclassified misdemeanor. He faces up to 30 days in jail and up to $500 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $250 cash bond.
