Felonies


• Robert Jewell Ellifritz, 20, jailed in Janesville, was sentenced Wednesday, March 13, to 18 months in prison and two years of extended supervision for revoking his probation on convictions from 2011 of taking and driving a car without the owner's consent, fleeing police and committing a hit-and-run. He will start his sentence with 391 days of sentence credit. He owes the court $528 and restitution to the following: $590 to the victim; $566.95 to the City of Brodhead; $1,875 to State Farm Insurance; and $5,979.28 to EMC Insurance. Court records indicate that in August 2011, Ellifritz stole a 1993 GMC Sonoma pickup truck from a residence in the W2900 block of Jordan Road in Jefferson Township and damaged another vehicle there, speeded up to 90 mph, rammed the pickup truck into a Brodhead Police squad and then fled the scene.

• Megan Katherine Thomas, 19, Monroe, was charged Wednesday, March 27, with a Class A misdemeanor charge of theft and a Class H felony charge of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner's consent. Court records indicate she stole an Xbox gaming console, 10 Xbox games, two Xbox Kinect games and 10 movie DVDs from a residence in the 2000 block of 13th Avenue in Monroe. She is also charged with taking a Chevrolet Areo from the same address and driving it on "various roads and highways" in Green and Dane counties. Her initial appearance in court is April 1.



Misdemeanors

• Bryan Lee Johnson, 22, Argyle, was charged Wednesday, March 27, with a Class A misdemeanor charge of having sex with a 16-year-old girl in the front seat of his pickup truck while it was parked in a lot at 109 W. 8th Street in Monroe on March 8. His initial appearance in court is April 1.

• Taylor Marie Yaun, 17, Monroe, was charged Wednesday, March 27, with a Class A misdemeanor charge of neglecting a child. Court records indicate Yaun left her 23-month-old daughter home alone in the 2000 block of 14th Avenue because she "had plans" with her boyfriend and no babysitter was available to watch the toddler. Her initial appearance in court is April 1.
