Green County
Misdemeanors
Cole A. Mabis, 28, Belleville, had one count of possession of drug paraphernalia dismissed and one count of bail jumping deferred for one year on Tuesday, March 25. If Mabis meets the court's expectations of not doing drugs or possessing any drug paraphernalia or driving without a valid license for one year, the charges of possession and bail jumping could be wiped from his record. Court records indicate Mabis was on bail for failing to appear for a court date in Dane County and was initially accused of possessing a one-hitter following a traffic stop on Sept. 6, but those charges were dismissed. He owes the court $163.
Lafayette County
Felonies
Martin D. Trone, 49, Argyle, had bond set at $1,000, Tuesday, March 25, for charges of fleeing an officer by vehicle and resisting an officer. If convicted for the maximum penalty Trone could face up to three-and-a-half years in prison or $10,000 in fines or both. Trone was charged with the alleged crimes from an incident that occurred on March 23. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 28.
