Felonies

• Kristina Emmaline Janisch, 19, New Glarus, was charged Monday, June 3, with six Class H felony counts of forgery and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping. Court records indicate that over the course of a week in April, while her parents were on vacation, she forged six of their checks to pay for gas for herself and friends at Brennan's, 701 8th St., Monroe. The six checks total about $480. The charges are in violation of her $10,000 signature bond on a previous charge taking and "joyriding" a 1995 Geo Metro last fall. She pleaded guilty to that charge in January and was granted a one-year deferred prosecution, with her bond conditions still in effect.
