Green County felonies
Derek J. Larosh, 27, Monroe, faces a Class H felony count of bail jumping after he allegedly drank
alcohol June 3 at Monroe's Junction House, N3696 County J, violating a bond condition from another case. If convicted, he could face a six-year prison sentence, $10,000 in fines, or both. Larosh appeared in court Thursday for a bond hearing. Court records indicate he signed a $3,000 signature bond Friday ordering him not to drink, enter bars or liquor stores or have any contact with the Junction House or its employees. The bail jumping charge stems from an incident June 3 in which police reportedly found Larosh sitting at the bar, extremely intoxicated. He signed a $2,000 cash bond Aug. 5 in a separate case that orders him not to possess or consume any intoxicants, court records indicate. He was arrested, transported to the Monroe Clinic emergency room for a medical clearance and then taken to jail. His blood-alcohol concentration was 0.16 percent. Larosh has an adjourned initial appearance in the new case June 24.
Lafayette County felonies
Douglas J. Forbes Jr., 23, Platteville, faces a Class I felony count of possessing marijuana with intent to distribute and a Class A misdemeanor count of receiving or concealing stolen property. Forbes made his initial appearance Monday, after which he signed a $5,000 signature bond that orders him to have no contact with Breanna Becker, his alleged co-defendant who is facing the same charges. If convicted on both counts, he could face a four-year prison sentence, $20,000 in fines, or both. The Belmont Police Department received a tip from Grant County Crime Stoppers that Forbes was involved in a burglary April 22 in the 100 block of West Lafayette Street in Cuba City. Police stopped a vehicle Forbes was riding in April 30 in the parking lot of the Lactalis cheese factory in Belmont and a search of the car yielded a laptop computer, television, sound bar and Blu-ray player. Later that day, court records indicate, police searched Becker's residence in the 100 block of North Park Street in Belmont and found two plastic bags containing a combined 6 grams of marijuana, as well as a digital scale and plastic grinder. Forbes has a preliminary hearing July 7.
Misdemeanors
Deanne L. Kim, 35, and Tyler Meyer, 29, both of Blanchardville, each face a Class B misdemeanor count of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct for their involvement in a March 1 incident in the 100 block of School Street in Blanchardville. If convicted, both could face 90 days in jail, $1,000 in fines, or both. They made their initial appearances Monday, after which the court set separate $150 cash bonds ordering them not to have violent or abusive contact with one another. The charges stem from a domestic incident in which they shoved each other upon Meyer's return from a bar where, Kim told investigators, he had been drinking all day. They were both arrested and released later in the day. If convicted, both could face 90 days in jail, $1,000 in fines, or both. Both are due back in court for arraignment June 15.
