LAFAYETTE COUNTY

MISDEMEANORS

• Richard J. Randecker, 50, Shullsburg, was charged June 18 with domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct for allegedly harassing a woman he knows May 3 and preventing her from leaving a

residence. Police records indicate he signed a $500 signature bond Monday after making his initial appearance in court. According to police reports, Randecker entered the woman's residence uninvited and, despite her objections, took her cell phone and drove off in her car. He reportedly returned shortly thereafter but refused to give her phone back because he was afraid she'd call police. He used his car to park hers in, pocketed both sets of keys and told her she wasn't leaving. The following day, he continued to harass her, and she called police. He was arrested and booked into jail. He has an arraignment hearing July 20.
