Green County Felonies

The court Friday scheduled a March 19 plea/sentencing hearing for Curtis L. Metz, 26, Monroe, who pleaded not guilty to bail jumping.

Court records indicate he was arrested for drunken driving Dec. 29 in Monroe while on bond for possession with intent to deliver marijuana.

He is charged with bail jumping, a class H felony. He faces up to six years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $2,500 signature bond.

Misdemeanors

• The court Friday sentenced Coty D.D. Sweet, 18, Monroe, to two years probation after he pleaded no contest to battery.

He faced up to nine months in jail and up to $10,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class A misdemeanor.

The court dismissed two counts of bail jumping, both class H felonies, and one count of disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor.

He originally faced up to 13 years in prison and up to $31,000 in fines.

Court records indicate he repeatedly punched a woman in the shoulder and face Nov. 28 in Monroe township.
