Green County Felonies

• The court Tuesday sentenced Timothy S. Walls, 27, Albany, to three months in jail with two days credit after he pleaded guilty Tuesday to drug possession.

He faced more than seven years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the class I felony.

Court records indicate he had marijuana in his possession Sept. 8 in Albany. He was previously convicted of child enticement-sexual contact in Milwaukee County in 2002.

Misdemeanors

• The court Friday entered into a deferred prosecution agreement and fined Mark A. Sterkowicz, 53, Browntown, $249 after he pleaded no contest to drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He faced up to six months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines as part of the plea agreement for the unclassified misdemeanor.

The deferred prosecution agreement for possession of marijuana will be dismissed in one year if he complies with the terms of the agreement.

The possession of drug paraphernalia was reduced from an unclassified misdemeanor to a county ordinance violation. He was ordered to pay $249 in fines and costs.

He originally faced up to 30 days in jail and $500 in fines.

Court records indicate he had marijuana and drug paraphernalia in his possession Sept. 6 in Cadiz township.
