• The court entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a March 3 district attorney conference for Donald E. Bechtolt, 49, Monroe, who stood mute to a charge of drunken driving.
Court records indicate he was arrested for allegedly driving while intoxicated and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration of .157 Dec. 18 in Monroe.
He is charged with drunken driving and driving with a prohibited alcohol concentration, seventh, eighth or ninth offense, both class G felonies. He faces up to 20 years in prison and up to $50,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $9,000 signature bond and a $1,000 cash bond.
