On Tuesday:
Amanda K. Meighan, 22, Monroe, was found guilty due to a no-contest plea of driving while intoxicated, second offense; she also had a charge of driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration dismissed. Meighan will serve five days in jail, have her license revoked for one year, is ordered to undergo alcohol assessment classes and to install an ignition interlock device for a period of one year upon relicensing. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Sept. 26. Police reports indicate she was arrested after she lost control of her vehicle on 11th Avenue in Monroe and hit a utility pole. She owes a fine of $1,179.
Evelyn Price, 28, New Glarus, will serve one year on probation as a part of a DPA for a charge of disorderly conduct; she also had a charge of battery dismissed. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on Aug. 5. If Price complies with all the conditions of the DPA, the charge could be dismissed. Court records indicate Price attacked a woman on 6th Avenue in New Glarus and yanked on the victim's hair pulling her to the ground. Price owes a fine of $243.
Aubrilynn A. K. Myers, 19, New Glarus, was released on a $1,500 signature bond with conditions that she not do drugs, possess drug paraphernalia or have any violent or abusive contact with the victim in this case. Myers is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, battery and two counts of criminal damage to property stemming from an incident that occurred on Friday. If convicted for the maximum penalty, Myers could face up to $31,000 in fines or 2 1/2 years in jail or both. She has a pretrial conference set for March 17.
