Sandlin, 33, Monroe, pleaded no contest and received deferred prosecution on Thursday, Dec. 15, for a Class B misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct stemming from a Sept. 8 incident. Court records indicate Sandlin called a 12-year-old girl a racial slur and threatened to burn a cross on her forehead and in her yard. The court struck hate-crime charge modifiers from his record.
