- The court Thursday scheduled a Dec. 27 plea hearing for Tyler J. Meyer, 25, Monticello, who is charged with attempting to flee an officer.
Court records allege he increased his vehicle's speed up to 80 mph after being signaled to stop March 23 in Decatur township.
He is charged with attempting to flee an officer, a class I felony. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.

- The court Thursday scheduled a Jan. 18 district attorney conference and entered a plea of not guilty for Shad M. Amacher, 32, Monroe, who stood mute to two counts of failure to pay child support.
Court records allege he failed to support a child between Nov. 1, 2009 and Aug. 13, 2010.
He is charged with two counts of failure to support, both class I felonies. He faces up to seven years in prison and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.
He remains free on a $4,000 signature bond.

He is charged with disorderly conduct, a class B misdemeanor. He faces up to three months in jail and up to $1,000 in fines. He remains free on a $500 signature bond.
