Robert Lee Prinkey Jr., 44, and his brother, Anthony Allen Prinkey, 42, both of Albany, were each charged Wednesday with a Class H felony count of manufacturing marijuana, and misdemeanor counts of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The brothers were charged after police were called to check the welfare of a man in the W1200 block of 4th Street, Town of Albany, on Aug. 20. When police arrived, the caller told them that the Prinkey brothers were growing marijuana within the residence. Police executed a search warrant on Aug. 22 and found a bag containing 10.5 grams of marijuana on the premises as well as 10 marijuana plants. The brothers will appear in court for their preliminary hearings Sept. 16.

Henry Ottoniel Lopez-Ixpata, 19, Fennimore, was charged Aug. 22 with a Class G felony county of second-degree recklessly endangering another's safety, one Class A misdemeanor count of both battery and obstructing an officer and a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Lopez-Ixpata was charged after he reportedly stalked a woman for the better part of June 4, culminating in a traffic accident he allegedly caused in the 22000 block of County F, Town of Seymour. According to the victim, Lopez-Ixpata had followed the victim from her workplace to various other destinations and attempted to get her to come with him. When she refused, he continued to follow her in his vehicle and drove aggressively, eventually forcing her to enter a ditch to avoid a collision. After this, Lopez-Ixpata began kicking and hitting the victim's car before retrieving a machete from his vehicle and rapping on the windshield with the blade. Lopez-Ixpata fled when the victim called police. Lopez-Ixpata later told police the victim had forced him off the road and attacked his car. His initial appearance is scheduled for Sept. 13.
