Under a law that allows leniency to youthful offenders, the case may be expunged from her record if she successfully completes her probation. The case stems from an incident April 28. A misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct and a forfeiture charge of harassment were dismissed. The charges stem from a series of incidents in April. Boeck allegedly yelled and swore at a woman on several occasions and tried to drag her by her hair out of his residence. He also reportedly sent harassing and prying messages to a woman he found in the Monroe Buy Sell Swap Facebook group and, after she left the group to avoid him, he found her again "within 10 minutes of her signing up" in the Freeport Buy Sell Swap page and continued to message her.

An investigating officer at the scene noted in his report that she had been going for daily methadone treatment in Beloit and was experiencing narcotic withdrawals, including shaking.
