Misdemeanors

On Monday:

• Paula J. Amaya, 26, Darlington, will be on probation for one year as part of a deferred prosecution agreement. Amaya was charged with one count of resisting an officer stemming from an incident that occurred on April 8, 2004. If she complies with all conditions of the deferred prosecution agreement the charge could be expunged. She owes the court $243.

• Cody J. Langmeier, 22, Argyle, entered a not-guilty plea to charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a prohibited-alcohol concentration, both second offenses, and driving while revoked. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on June 11. Sheriff's reports indicate Langmeier was turning his vehicle onto Center Street off of Wisconsin 81 when the vehicle spun in a complete circle and hit a parked, unoccupied trailer. He was uninjured and allegedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.

• Bree K. Harker, 21, Darlington, entered a not-guilty plea to one count of battery that stems from an incident that occurred on May 31. If convicted for the maximum penalty, Harker could face up to $10,000 in fines or nine months in jail or both.

• Dustin J. Hillyer, 34, Reedsburg, was released on a $1,500 signature bond with additional conditions that he not threaten or violently abuse the alleged victim in this case. Hillyer is charged with one count of taking a vehicle without consent and one count of intimidating a victim. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on April 29. Sheriff's reports indicate a 911 caller reported a stolen vehicle. Hillyer was located driving the allegedly stolen vehicle on Wood Street, Belmont. Hillyer has a scheduling conference set for Sept. 2.
