Misdemeanors

On Monday:

• Sara L. Bevins, 23, South Wayne, had a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct dismissed on a prosecutor's motion. Bevins had a charge of battery reduced to disorderly conduct stemming from an incident that occurred on Jan. 8.

• Jeremiah W. Johnson, 34, Mineral Point, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct. Johnson was charged stemming from an incident that occurred on Feb. 16. If convicted for the maximum penalty Johnson could face up to 90 days in jail or a $1,000 fine or both. He has a pre-trial conference on May 20.

• Adam Jay Standifer, 28, Highland, entered a not-guilty plea to charges of domestic abuse-related battery and disorderly conduct. Standifer was charged on April 11. If convicted for the maximum penalty, he could face up to $11,000 in fines or up to one year imprisonment or both.

• Karina Orizaba, 20, Darlington, entered a not-guilty plea to three counts of neglecting a child. Orizaba was charged with three Class A misdemeanors on Nov. 18. If convicted for the maximum penalty, she could face up to 27 months imprisonment or $30,000 in fines or both.
