Charlene A. Schwartzlow, age 60, of rural Monticello, died on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. She was born on December 20, 1956 in Monroe, the daughter of Charles and Juanita (Walker) Richardson. Charlene was a 1975 graduate of Albany High School.

Charlene and Gregory Schwartzlow were united in marriage on November 15, 1975 in Albany, Wisconsin.

She was a farm wife who enjoyed farming with her husband and was also employed at Ogden Manufacturing Company in Albany. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, riding motorcycle, bowling, playing cards, but her most precious joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Greg of rural Monticello, children: Danial (Julie) Schwartzlow, Tim (Carolyn) Schwartzlow both of Monticello, Nicki Schwartzlow of Brodhead, grandchildren, Casey, Ian, Derek, Hunter and Jaxon; brother, Randy (Pamela) Richardson of Albany, half-brother, Lloyd Richardson of Loves Park, IL; half-sister, Julianne (James) Binstock of AZ; numerous nieces and nephews, many friends, and lifelong friendships.

She is predeceased by her parents, mother in-law and father-in-law, Charlotte and John Schwartzlow.

Memorial services will be Thursday, March 23, 2017 at 12:00 noon at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE Funeral Home in Monroe, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23rd from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.

A memorial fund is being established in Charlene's memory.
