Catherine Ann Long, 56, Monroe, Wisconsin, died at 10:34 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Monroe Clinic Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born June 20, 1956 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas and Joyce (Nyman) Long, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, cooking and cheering for the "Packers." She graduated from Durand High School, Class of 1974.
Survivors include daughter, Annette Geiken, Pickneyville, Illinois; son Keith (Stacy) Geiken, Durand, Illinois; four grandchildren; one great grandson; mother Joyce Long, Durand, Illinois; sisters, Debbie (Charlie) Spry, Orfordville, Wisconsin, Denise (Bill) Starnes, Davis, Illinois and Patty (Jeff) Land, Rockford, Illinois; brother Chuck (Sue) Long, Pecatoncia, Illinois; two nieces and nephews and several cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her father and sister Karen Steward.
Funeral Ceremonies will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2012 in McCorkle Funeral Home, 101 Main Street, Durand, Illinois with Deacon Dick Mulcahey officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Durand, Illinois. Visitation will be held in the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. till time of service Monday. A memorial will be established.
