Caroline F. Goecks, age 85, died Sunday, September 27, 2009 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. She was born on April 29, 1924 in Juda, the daughter of Julius E. and Anna (Jordan) Goecks. She worked for the A & P Food Store for 35 years, the Monroe Times and later worked for the Yodel Bakery. She was a member of New Apostolic Church, taught Sunday School, sang in the Church Choir and served the church wherever needed.
She is survived by her brothers, Marvin, Julius, Carl, Donald Goecks, all of California, and Rueben Goecks of Juda; also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arthur, Willis, Ervin and Harold Goecks.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the New Apostolic Church, 2404 11th Ave., Monroe, with John Eley officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Juda, WI.
A visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2009 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Dr. and 18th Ave., Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to New Apostolic Church World Wide Charity Fund in Caroline's memory.
