Carole J. Albright, age 87, of Oregon, formerly of Albany, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at the Oregon Manor. She was born on February 25, 1929 in Madison, the daughter of Erling and Monona (Brazee) Lunde. Carole was a graduate of Madison Central High School.
Carole and Russell Albright were married March 27, 1954 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Madison, Wisconsin.
She worked at St. Mary's Hospital and also worked beside her husband on the Family Century Farm. She enjoyed gardening, baking, music, she loved traveling with her husband and sheltie dog, "Tippy".
Carole was a member of the Albany United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy J. (Paul) Mangan of Oregon, WI; son, William "Bill" (Ada) Albright of Monroe; 2 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 4 step great grandchildren, and her tortoise shell cat, Sara.
She is predeceased by her parents, husband, brother, daughter, Sandy Albright, and son, Tommy Albright.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Albany United Methodist Church, with Pastor Brad Mather officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service, at the church. SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home is assisting the family.
