Burnett John Kubly, age 89 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Monroe Clinic Hospital. He was born June 3, 1918 at home in Decatur Township, the son of John and Dora (Feldt) Kubly and attended Jordan Prairie School.

In 1990 he was honored by the Cheese Days Committee with his picture on the official Cheese Day mug and button for his dedication and love of Swiss Music. Because of his love of Swiss music, he taught John Wegmueller his art. He enjoyed listening to WEKZ's Swiss Program every day.
