Betty M. Riechers, 87, of Darlington, passed into glory on September 13, 2012. Betty was preceded in death by an infant son, Joseph, in 1951, and by her husband Bill, in 2008. Bill and Betty had four surviving children: James Riechers of Willow Springs, Missouri and Tucson, Arizona; Mary (Larry) Glass of Loveland, Colorado; Mark (Janice) Riechers of Darlington; and Sam (Janet) Riechers of Tucson.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 17, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and also Tuesday, September 18, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 1302 Clay Street in Darlington with Rev. Jeffrey M. Tomberlin officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Cemetery. The Erickson Funeral Home in Darlington is serving the family.
