Belva M. Koehler, 84, of Freeport died Friday, September 05, 2014 at the Manor Court of Liberty Village Freeport. Born August 27, 1930 in Lafayette, WI she was the daughter of Carl A. and Marguerite D. (Krupke) Haeft. On December 4, 1948 she and William Koehler were united in marriage and he preceded her in death in 2006. She worked many years at Micro Switch in Freeport. Belva enjoyed bowling in various leagues. She is survived by two sisters Barbara (Jim) Quinn of Union Grove, WI and Marcia Eichmeier of Pearl City. Special Aunt Vada Jackson of Warren and many cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Bill, daughter Lisa, two brothers Howard Haeft, LaVerne Haeft and a sister Jeanette Carter. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Freeport. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at Chapel Hill.
