MADISON - Arlene S. Hillcoat, age 59 of Madison, died Friday, March 20, 2009 at Meriter Hospital, Madison. She was born on December 30, 1949 in Monroe; the daughter of Roy and Lucille (Holcomb) Hess. Arlene attended school for the hearing impaired in Madison and the School for the deaf in Delavan. She enjoyed going to the mall, reading and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her father and step-mother, Roy (Jean) Hess of Peoria, AZ; brother, Wayne (Monda) Hess of Monroe; sister, LaVonne (Dennis) Cleaveland, Monroe; Aunt and Uncle, Kenneth (Alice) Holcomb of Highland, IN; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and special friend, Dan Munz of Madison. She was preceded in death by her mother, sister, Linda Hess and her grandfather, Clarence Holcomb.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at Washington Reformation Church, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. Burial will take place in Washington Reformation Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be given in Arlene's name to the Hearing Impaired.
