Alvin Frederick Ditter, age 88, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Azura Memory Care in Monroe, WI. Alvin was born to Henry and Mary (Mand) Ditter on February 8, 1927 in Taycheedah, WI. He married Jane C. Schmitz on June 16, 1949.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Jane, and children, Mary (Robert-deceased) Schara, David (Susan) Ditter, and John (Cindy) Ditter; grandchildren: Amy, Kim, Kate, Beth, Mitchell and Jaclyn, and 5 great-grandchildren. Al is further survived by brother, Raymond and sister, Alice Sabel. He leaves behind many special relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his Parents; brothers, William, Clarence, Harold and sister, Stella Birschbach. He loved the outdoors. Fishing and hunting were his favorite past-times. In his later years hickory nut hunting provided him many hours of pleasure. He will be missed by all who knew him. There will be a Memorial Service at a later date. Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.
