Alice M. Pick, age 78 of Jefferson passed away on Saturday May 7, 2011 at her home. She was born February 16, 1933 in Chicago Illinois, daughter of the late Simon and Mary Alice (White) Peacock. She married Ervin William Pick on March 1, 1952 at Jefferson.

Alice was a homemaker, foster mother, and a licensed day care provider. She was also a published Author of three books; Jamey's Promise, The Last Vow, and Willow Creek Crossing.

Alice was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She was a wonderful cook and she enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and spending time with her family.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Bill of Jefferson, Daughters; Mary Jane Tagliasacchi of New York, Sherry (fiancé Randy Kabot) Stackle of Fort Atkinson.

Son; Will (Wendy) Pick of Browntown, Wisconsin.

Grandchildren; Shanna Stackle, Michael Stackle, Christopher Stackle, Amber (Andrew Miller) Tagliasacchi, Cristina Tagliasacchi.

Two sisters; Betty (Robert) Spannenberg of Sheboygan, Debbie Peacock of FL.

Two brothers; Ron "Corky" (Jane) Peacock of FL, "Skeets" Peacock of FL.

Many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She is also preceded in death by Brothers; Ray Hodyniak, Ron Hodyniak, Glen Hodyniak, and Danny Peacock.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday May 10, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Coyle officiating.

Visitation will be on Monday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home. Then again on Tuesday morning at the church from 11:00 until the time of Mass
