Alice Beverly Brown, 75, of Cherry Valley passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015. Born April 29, 1940 in Cherry Valley to Donovan and Frieda (Berger) Austin. Married Richard Brown in 1958 in Cherry Valley. They then moved to the Monroe, WI area where they lived and raised a family. Retired after 25 years from Advance Transformer, Monroe, WI. Alice loved horses, and all of nature. She also enjoyed music.
Survivors include husband, Richard Brown; children, Teresa Alcantara, Mitchell Brown, Martin (Debbie) Brown, Connie (William) Hazelbower; Francine Alcantara, Janel (Michael) Nelson; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Phyllis Alexander, Bernice (Walt) Schabacker; special sister-in-law, Janet Farmer; and several other loving family members. Predeceased by parents; and sister, Dolores.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2015 in Honquest Family Funeral Homes with Crematory - Mulford Chapel, 4311 N. Mulford Road, Loves Park. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home, and again from 10:30 a.m. until time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Alice's name to The ALS Association, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 6051, Albert Lea, MN 56007.
