Alexandra Sue Ihm, age 21 of rural Hollandale, died on Monday evening, March 6, 2017. She was born on September 23, 1995 in Madison to Douglas and Connie (Wyttenbach) Ihm. She enjoyed working with her dad on the farm she loved as she was growing up. Alexandra loved her farm kittens, and named them all. She went to grade and high school at the Pecatonica Area Schools in Hollandale and Blanchardville, graduating in 2014 as valedictorian and class president. Alexandra loved working with the Thronson family at the Hollandale Grocery store. She was a student at the UW-Madison where she was on the Dean's List, studying elementary education and teaching English as a second language. She was known for her kindness and thoughtfulness for others. Alexandra had a knack for telling hilarious stories full of wit, and had a contagious laugh that filled a room with joy. She was a strong, warm hearted and tender soul. She loved spending time with her family and friends at the cabin. Most of all, she was full of love.

Alexandra is survived by her parents, Doug and Connie (Wyttenbach) Ihm of rural Hollandale; one sister, Elizabeth Ihm of Milwaukee; maternal grandparents Jerry and Sharon Wyttenbach of Argyle; Paternal grandparents Robert and Jeraldine Ihm of Hollandale; her best friend and love of her life, Nick Debner of Madison; her special cousin, Lacy Krahenbuhl and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Alyssia Kittleson and good friend Mason Wedige.

A visitation for Alexandra will be held on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 4:00 until 9:00 pm at Blanchard Hall at 204 South Main Street in Blanchardville. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Pecatonica High School in Blanchardville. The Saether Funeral Home in Blanchardville is assisting the family.
