Monroe Police

MONROE — Miguel Steward, 26, Madison, was arrested on a second-offense charge of possession of marijuana at 1:51 p.m. Aug. 31 on Wis. 11 and County DR as a result of a traffic stop. He was jailed. The driver, Zaqwelleus N. Jones, 22, Sun Prairie, was cited for failure to follow indicated turn. 

●  Maurice D. King, 51, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay fine on a disorderly conduct case at 6:21 p.m. Sept. 1 at a residence in the 300 block of 3rd Street. He was jailed. 

 

Darlington Police 

DARLINGTON — Felipe Atlahua-Zopiyactle, 44, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 11:07 p.m. Aug. 28 at a business on Wis. 23. He was also cited for driving without a valid license. 

●  Rodimiro Gutierrez-Santacruz, 30, Darlington, was arrested on a warrant at 10:52 p.m. Aug. 29 at a residence. 


Lafayette County Sheriff 

DARLINGTON — On Aug. 29: 

●  Chad J. Pergande, 49, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 12:44 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of New Diggings. 

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 1:46 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard. 

●  Kathleen I. Mathias, 21, Darlington, was cited for driving left of center and texting while driving at 6:27 p.m. on County F, Town of Willow Springs. 

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:19 p.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg and at 9:51 p.m. on Thor Lane, Town of Wiota.
