Monroe Police

MONROE — Genaro Vazquez Martinez, 29, Monroe, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin Domestic Violence Laws at 9:08 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, after officers responded to a call about a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of 17th Street. Vazquez Martinez was also charged with bail jumping due to a violation of court-ordered bail conditions in a prior case. He was jailed pending court.

•  Shannon L. Golackson, 34, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic dispute in the 1700 block of 8th Street at 6:52 a.m. Monday, Sept. 10. She posted the required bond and was released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Sara M. Lawrence, 26, Monroe, turned herself in at the Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Probation and Parole Office at 9:41 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11. She was jailed.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Sept. 8:

•  Renee Neumann, 27, Elkhorn, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop for speeding at 8:54 a.m. on Wis. 23.

•  Kay Coombs, 81, Madison, was cited for speeding at 12:03 p.m. on Wis. 23.

•  Rosanne Losoya, 31, Darlington, was arrested at 8:23 p.m. on a warrant for failing to pay a citation. She posted bond and was released.

On Sunday, Sept. 9:

•  Kayla Rayburn, 19, Stillman Valley, Illinois, was cited for speeding at about 7:20 a.m. on Wis. 23.

•  Pauline Godfrey, 87, Darlington, was cited for speeding at about 10 a.m. on Wis. 23.

•  Angela Berg, 58, Davis, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:21 a.m. on Wis. 23 after police logged her driving 56 mph in a 35 mph zone.

•  Tracie Priddy, 45, Gays Mills, was cited for speeding at 12:19 p.m. on Wis. 81. 

•  Arcenio Salinas, 64, Prospect Heights, Illinois, was cited for speeding at about 3:20 p.m. on Wis. 23.

•   Kurt J. Crist, 32, Darlington, was cited for vehicle display of power, operating a UTV in a careless manner and failing to stop a UTV for a law enforcement official at 10:28 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, following a UTV pursuit on the Cheese Country Trail.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Friday, Sept. 7:

•  Jessica R. Hoey, 26, Apple River, Illinois, was arrested on a warrant issued through Lafayette County following a traffic stop at 4:24 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs. She was also cited for driving without a license, driving without vehicle insurance and insufficient tire-tread depth. She was jailed.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:30 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

•  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 6:05 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington. Darlington police assisted on scene.

•  Blake J. Hibner, 20, Montfort, was arrested on a warrant issued through Dubuque County, Iowa and on a probation violation at 6:26 p.m. He was also arrested on charges of bail jumping and resisting or obstructing an officer. He was jailed.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:07 p.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:14 p.m. on Faymont Road, Town of Fayette.

•  An animal bite was reported at 8:48 p.m. on Tollakson Road, Town of Wayne.

•  Justin M. Christopher, 26, Highland, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and driving without vehicle insurance at 10 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

•  Tanner J. Mullikin, 19, Platteville, was cited for equipping a non-emergency vehicle with blue lights and for loud exhaust at 10:35 p.m. on County B, Town of Belmont.

•  Deputies assisted the Madison Police Department at 11:57 p.m. on North State Street in Argyle.

On Saturday, Sept. 8:

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:28 a.m. on Woods Branch Road, Town of Kendall.

•  Quinton A. Yell, 27, Shullsburg, was cited for failure to wear a seatbelt at 12:17 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

•  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 1:09 p.m. to Russell Road, Town of Kendall.

•  Randall L. Tollakson, 47, South Wayne, was arrested at 2:06 p.m. on a warrant issued through Lafayette County. He was transported to the jail, where he was booked and later posted bond.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 3:20 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 4:47 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

•  Arame I. Diop, 19, Verona, was cited for speeding at 5 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

•  A disabled vehicle was reported at 5:04 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:33 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

•  A traffic hazard was reported at 7:17 p.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington.

•  Chandler J. Johnson, 29, Sandwich, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 9:19 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

•  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:56 p.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

On Sunday, Sept. 9:

•  A noise complaint was reported at 12:12 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

•  Abigail J. Ockenfels, 22, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 12:24 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

•  A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle at 12:39 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:06 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall.

•  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 6:48 p.m. on South Van Buren Street in Benton.

•  Disorderly conduct was reported at 11:45 p.m. on Ohnstad Road, Town of Darlington. The Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.

On Monday, Sept. 10:

•  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 7:51 a.m. on North Park Street in Belmont.

•  A minor accident was reported at 2:26 p.m. on South Park Street in Belmont.

•  Harassment was reported at 3 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:50 p.m. on Deery Road, Town of Willow Springs.

•  A deputy responded to a 911 misdial at 8:26 p.m. on Wisconsin 81, Town of Argyle.

•  Recovered property was reported at 8:47 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

•  Oakley T. Larsen, 19, Dodgeville, was cited for driving without a valid license and speeding at 11:03 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

On Tuesday, Sept. 11:

•  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 12:56 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

•  A deputy responded at 1:30 a.m. to County Shop Road, Town of Darlington, for an open door.

•  Brandon S. Cronce, 24, Platteville, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:57 p.m. on Sales Barn Road, Town of Elk Grove.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12:

•  A deputy responded to a 911 misdial at 1:41 a.m. on Pickinax Street in Shullsburg.

•  An animal problem was reported at 10:42 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

•  An injured deer was reported at 10:57 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard.

•  Nathan T. Starks, 23, Webster, was arrested at 4:52 p.m. on a warrant and jailed.

•  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 5:56 p.m. on South Lake Road, Town of Fayette.

•  Chas D. McDermott, 22, Cuba City, was cited for a cracked windshield and driving without vehicle insurance at 7:10 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
