Monroe Police

MONROE — Tommy R. Goebel, 50, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery under Wisconsin’s domestic violence laws after officers responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2700 block of 8th 1/2 Street at 1:40 a.m. Monday, Sept. 9. He was jailed pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Donald W. Pitman, 52, Albany, was arrested on two warrants for failure to pay fines following a traffic stop in the W8100 block of County C, Town of Adams, at 10:59 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10. He was held at the jail pending the posting of bond.

DARLINGTON — On Tuesday, Sept. 3:

●  Henry O. Lopez-Ixpata, 22, Fennimore, was arrested on charges of attempted burglary, harassment, resisting arrest and making threats to injure after deputies responded to a suspicious activity complaint at 2 a.m. on West Harrison Street in Shullsburg. He was also arrested on a warrant. He was jailed.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:58 a.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to assist Belmont police with a welfare check at 9:25 a.m. on East Liberty Street in Belmont.

●  Rita Fuentes-Cervantes, 28, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without a valid license after a deputy responded to a hit-and-run accident at 12:20 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 12:32 p.m. on North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

●  Ronald J. Leifker, 35, Mineral Point, was arrested for a probation and parole violation at 2:07 p.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg, at the request of the Iowa County Probation and Parole Office. He was transported to the Iowa County Jail by Shullsburg police.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 4:21 p.m. on Lancaster Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Heliberto Fuentes-Cervantes, 25, Belmont, was arrested on a warrant at 6:07 p.m. in Mineral Point. He was picked up in Iowa County and brought back to the Lafayette County Jail. He was later released on a cash bond.

●  Gavin R. Sager, 20, Monticello, was cited for speeding at 6:10 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy came across a suspicious vehicle at 7:48 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4:

●  Gary S. Coley, 47, Platteville, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 6:54 a.m. on County J, Town of Benton.

●  Lance E. Barnes, 49, Darlington, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:37 a.m. on Roaster Road, Town of Benton.

●  Mark J. Peterson, 53, South Wayne, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:56 a.m. on North Warren Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy assisted Shullsburg police with livestock on the roadway at 7:19 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 8:17 p.m. on County M, Town of Darlington.

●  Corey S. Cullen, 35, Cuba City, was arrested on a charge of operating an ATV while intoxicated after a deputy stopped the ATV at 8:50 p.m. on Woodberry Road, Town of Willow Springs. Cullen was also cited for failure to attach registration plate, operating an ATV without a valid registration and failure to display lighted tail lamp. He was transported to the jail, where he was released to a responsible party.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 10:46 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

On Thursday, Sept. 5:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:46 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington, with Darlington police assisting a deputy on scene; at 11:50 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton; at 9:09 p.m. on County F, Town of Fayette; and at 9:53 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

●  An animal noise complaint was reported at 11:13 a.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Michael R. Tuttle, 39, Polo, Illinois, was transported at 12:56 p.m. from the Ogle County Jail in Illinois to the Lafayette County Jail, where he was booked on a valid Lafayette County warrant. He remained in custody.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 3:17 p.m. on County K in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted Benton police with a disorderly conduct complaint at 6:36 p.m. on 3rd Street in Benton.

●  A deputy assisted Shullsburg police with a welfare check at 7:49 p.m. on West High Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted a citizen at 8:27 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  Trespassing was reported at 9:27 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

On Friday, Sept. 6:

●  A deputy responded to assist Darlington police at 12:35 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Todd R. Gilbertson, 56, Blanchardville, was arrested on a probation and parole warrant at 1:35 a.m. on East School Street in Blanchardville. He was jailed.

●  Debris on the roadway was reported at 2:22 p.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.

●  Barbara J. Taylor, 70, Kenosha, was cited for speeding at 3:45 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  An animal injured on the roadway was reported at 4:12 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  A hit-and-run was reported at 5:25 p.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot.

●  Kaylee S. Meyers, 18, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 6:23 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:24 p.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  Debris on the roadway was reported at 7:03 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A parking complaint was reported at 8 p.m. on Center Street in South Wayne.

●  A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle at 8:25 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Belmont police assisted on scene.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:45 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

On Saturday, Sept. 7:

●  A deputy responded at 12:09 a.m. to West Mound View Avenue in Belmont to assist the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office with a request to check welfare.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:13 a.m. on Dunbarton Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  Malhotra Sameer, 41, India, was cited for speeding at 9:52 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 12:23 p.m. on County H, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 1:27 p.m. on Mineral Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Shann D. Engeli, 39, South Wayne, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no seatbelt at 1:40 p.m. on County D, Town of Wayne.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 3:19 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  David A. Place, 62, Cuba City, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance at 3:45 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:26 p.m. on Gravel Run Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Benjamin P. Mean, 22, Appleton, was cited for speeding at 4:36 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to assist with unlocking a vehicle at 5:03 p.m. on South Street in Belmont.

●  Deputies responded to a request to keep the peace at 5:15 p.m. on 3rd Street in Benton. As a result, Kami J. Adolf, 32, Dubuque, Iowa, and Nicholas E. Roberts, 38, Benton, were arrested on charges of disorderly conduct. They were taken to the jail and later released on cash bond.

●  Reckless driving of an ATV was reported at 6:29 p.m. on County I, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:19 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  An erratic driver was reported at 7:51 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  Justin J. Nelson, 31, Linden, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at 9:46 p.m. on Galena Street in Argyle. He was transported to the jail.

●  Theft was reported at 11:16 p.m. on County Y, Town of Argyle.

On Sunday, Sept. 8:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:27 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:28 a.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  Denis J. Roling, 63, Dubuque, Iowa, was cited for speeding at 4:05 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 4:12 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 9:21 p.m. on County U, Town of Shullsburg.
