BRODHEAD — On Oct. 17:
● Suspicious activity involving people in a parking lot was reported at 12:16 a.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police determined they were employees leaving work.
● A knocked-down sign was reported at 3:29 a.m. in the 1600 block of 17th Street. Police re-stabilized the sign.
● A vehicle parked left of center facing traffic was reported at 4:10 a.m. in the 700 block of East 3rd Avenue. A warning was issued.
● A vehicle in violation of the city’s 48-hour parking ordinance and a truck off the heavy truck route were reported at 7:59 a.m. in the 800 block of 17th Street. Warnings were issued.
● A Rockford, Illinois man, 44, was cited for speeding at 12:41 p.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street.

DARLINGTON — On Oct. 10:
● Mackenzie Fox, 26, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 11:15 a.m. on Keep Street.
● Daniel Mayahua-Gomez, 27, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 9:27 p.m. on Wis. 23. He was also cited for second-offense driving without a valid license, speeding and possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle.

DARLINGTON — On Sept. 28:
● A deputy assisted with a vehicle unlock at 12:05 a.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:18 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont; at 5:52 a.m. on County I, Town of Elk Grove; at 8:02 a.m. on English Hollow Road, Town of Blanchard; at 9:40 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota; and at 9:31 p.m. on Trotter Road, Town of Argyle.
● Deputies responded to check the area after receiving an online complaint to ensure no one was in the area at 8:05 a.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.
● A vehicle stopped along the side of the road was reported at 8:49 a.m. on South Holland Road, Town of Gratiot. A deputy located the vehicle. It had a flat tire. A tow truck responded to remove the vehicle.
● A parking problem was reported at 2:36 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.
● Chandler A. Bourgeous, 20, Apple River, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 4:50 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs.

● A noise complaint was reported at 11:35 p.m. on Lake Road, Town of Fayette. Campers at Yellowstone Lake State Park were warned for being too loud.
