Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Shawn L. Martin, 22, Stoughton, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 10:15 p.m. Friday, May 10, following a traffic stop on Wis. 81. He was also cited for possessing drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance. 

●  Flor D. Marin-Cruz, 24, Belmont, was cited for driving without a valid license at about 4:15 a.m. Sunday, May 12, following a traffic stop on East Mary Street.

●  Shyanne L. Burris, 25, Darlington, was cited for possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and driving with a suspended license at 5:53 p.m. Monday, May 13, following an investigation at a residence on East Louisa Street.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Kara M. Williams, 18, Juda, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, May 12, following a traffic stop in the 700 block of 16th Avenue. She was later released to a responsible person pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Roman F. Evanco, 24, Madison, was arrested and jailed on a felony charge of knowingly fleeing an officer after deputies attempted to stop a motorcycle for speeding in the N9000 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus, at 7:21 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. The motorcyclist, later identified as Evanco, failed to stop and proceeded to pass another vehicle while speeding up even more. He continued into the Village of New Glarus, where he was apprehended in a parking lot in the 200 block of Industrial Drive. Evanco was also cited for speeding, unreasonable and imprudent speed and passing in a no-passing zone. New Glarus police assisted deputies on the case.

On Wednesday, May 15:

●  Carol L. Dixon, 51, Monroe, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after deputies investigated a report at 5:46 p.m. of domestic abuse at a residence in the N200 block of Woodman Road, Town of Clarno. Dixon was jailed pending court or bond. Deputies responded to the residence again at 11:23 p.m. for a report of a disturbance and cited Michelle A. Williams, 36, Janesville, for disorderly conduct.

●  Kelsey A. Wuethrich, 28, Monroe, turned herself in on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 7:57 p.m. at the Green County Sheriff’s Office. She was jailed.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, May 4:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:18 a.m. on Pecatonica Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded at 10:56 a.m. to Mineral Road, Town of Darlington, to assist Juvenile County Juvenile Intake.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:48 a.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  Debris on the roadway was reported at 12:14 p.m. on Mine Road, Town of Benton.

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 12:22 p.m. on East Louisa Street in Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:18 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:04 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:09 p.m. on County Y, Town of Wiota.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:25 p.m. on Pecatonica Road, Town of Wiota.
