Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of Feb. 24-March 2, police performed 25 security checks, 42 citizen assists, 12 assists of other agencies, 33 vehicle registrations and 11 follow-ups to incidents; responded to 25 calls for service, eight EMS calls, one fire call and five 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made seven traffic stops. There were no detox or mental health transports.
On Sunday, Feb. 24:
● A Janesville woman, 21, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Rock County Sheriff’s Office at 9:09 a.m. in the 400 block of East 5th Avenue.
● Vandalism involving damaged tires was reported at 10:53 a.m. in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue.
● A traffic complaint of a vehicle being driven all over the roadway was reported at 7:03 p.m. in the 400 block of 1st Street. The vehicle was not located.
On Monday, Feb. 25:
● Police responded for a welfare check at 3:09 p.m. in the 700 block of 17th Street. Contact was made, and all appeared fine.
On Wednesday, Feb. 27:
● A vehicle parked facing traffic was reported at 10:50 a.m. in the 1600 block of 20th Street. A warning was issued.
● Fraud involving a credit card transaction was reported at 12:20 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street.
On Thursday, Feb. 28:
● An altercation between two people was reported at 12:33 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue. Contact was made, and the matter was resolved.
On Friday, March 1:
● A Brodhead woman, 50, was cited for not having motor vehicle liability insurance at 5:54 p.m. in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue.
● Seven teenagers were cited for underage possession or consumption of alcohol after police responded to a report of the offense at 9:37 p.m. in the 400 block of 2nd Street.
On Saturday, March 2:
● A Leaf River, Illinois woman, 35, was cited for passing in a no-passing zone at 4:27 p.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street.
● Police warned several people for driving off-road vehicles on city property at 5:16 p.m. in Headgates Park, W705 Golf Course Rd.
● A Brodhead woman, 28, was arrested on two warrants issued by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office at 6:44 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.
Monroe Police
MONROE — On Monday, Feb. 25:
● Danielle A. Bauer, 33, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license, displaying an unauthorized vehicle registration, non-registration of a motor vehicle and driving without vehicle insurance at 1:45 p.m. in the 700 block of 20th Avenue.
● Phillip A. Boyd, 26, Monroe, was cited for driving with a revoked license and without auto insurance at about 11 p.m. in the 2200 block of 9th Street.
On Wednesday, Feb. 27:
● A hit-and-run accident was reported at 10:30 a.m. in the parking lot of a business in the 300 block of 6th Avenue West. Officers located the suspect vehicle in the driveway of a residence in the 1200 block of 12th Avenue. Investigation resulted in the arrest of Charles A. Sulzer, 61, Monroe, on a charge of hit-and-run to an attended vehicle. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license, failure to notify police of an accident and operating a motor vehicle without insurance. He was booked and released pending court.
● Ricky A. Erving Jr., 32, Freeport, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. in the 1700 block of 12th Street on two warrants issued by the Monroe Police Department for failure to appear in court on prior assault and disorderly conduct charges. He was jailed pending court.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Leonel Bello, 37, Darlington, was cited for driving without a license at 7:45 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, following a traffic crash at the intersection of Galena Street and Center Hill Road.
● Tarig T. Leuchtenmacher, 19, Darlington, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large (third violation within one year) at 5:42 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, following a complaint on East Mary Street.
● Jeffery R. Sue, 43, Darlington, was cited for issuance of worthless checks on Thursday, Feb. 28, following a complaint by a business on Wis. 23. He was also cited for obstructing an officer.
● Daisy M. Harris, 36, Darlington, was cited for issuance of worthless checks on Thursday, Feb. 28, following a complaint by a business on Wis. 23.

MONROE — On Tuesday, Feb. 26:
● Roberto Jovany Cruz, 27, Beloit, was cited for speeding and driving without a valid license (second offense) at 10:56 a.m. in the W2300 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove.
● Deputies responded at 3:57 p.m. to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe to arrest Jacob D. Morrison, 22, Brooklyn, on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold. He was jailed.
● Raul Velazco Sanjuan, 31, Madison, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense within three years), speeding and failure to install an ignition interlock device at 4:12 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, in the W1100 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove.
On Friday, March 1:
● Daryl L. Berget, 66, Brodhead, was arrested on a Rock County warrant at 10:18 a.m. at a residence in the N3200 block of Crazy Horse Lane, Town of Decatur. He was turned over to Rock County deputies.
● Lori L. Braun, 46, Brodhead, was cited for driving with a revoked license, no vehicle insurance and non-registration of an auto at 6:40 p.m. in the 700 block of 21st Street in Brodhead.

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Feb. 24:
● A civil dispute was reported at 2:15 p.m. on North Street in Argyle.
● Drew L. Johnson, 21, Cuba City, was cited for driving with no vehicle insurance and with an expired vehicle registration at 6:15 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.
● Heidi L. McMullen, 39, Shullsburg, was cited for driving with a suspended license and failure to notify the DMV of an address change at 7:24 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.
● Brian W. Kammes, 39, Browntown, was cited for driving with no vehicle insurance and with an expired vehicle registration at 7:28 p.m. on Wis. 11 in South Wayne.
● Chad D. Knauer, 33, Hazel Green, was cited for driving with no vehicle insurance at 8:17 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

● Jessica R. Hoey, 27, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of bail jumping at 1:07 p.m. and transported to the jail, where she was booked and later released.
● A deputy responded for a welfare check at 3:01 p.m. on Walnut Road, Town of Wiota.
● Kyle A. Heidenreich, 33, Warren, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant following a traffic stop at 9:23 p.m. on Blackhawk Road, Town of Monticello. He was transported to the jail but later posted bond and was released. He was also cited for driving with a suspended license.
On Thursday, Feb. 28:
● An injured deer was reported at 6:25 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.
