MONROE — Charles W. Anderson, 41, Monroe, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at Wis. 11 and Wis. 69 at 9:13 p.m. June 12. He was booked at the jail and released to a responsible party pending court.
● Tyler D. Bevins, 25, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of THC possession during a traffic stop at 9:24 p.m. June 13 in the 500 block of West 21st Street. He was booked and released pending court.
Albany Police
ALBANY — Hunter J. Drefahl, 21, Evansville, was arrested May 22 on charges of operating while intoxicated and with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration. He was also cited for no vehicle insurance and failure to obey a traffic sign.
● Chad A. Fernandez, 33, Monroe, was cited May 23 for driving with a suspended license.
● Shannon Turnbill, 43, Albany, was cited June 1 for a lawns and grasses regulations violation.
● Two juveniles, one from Janesville and the other from Milton, were cited June 4 for trespassing on private property along the Sugar River while out tubing.
● Dominic A. Cabrera, 21, Loves Park, Illinois, was arrested June 5 on a charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for failure to obey a traffic sign, non-registration of a vehicle, no vehicle insurance and possession of THC.
● Ryan B. T. Hoppe, 23, Watertown, was arrested June 6 on charges of operating while intoxicated and with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and cited for non-registration of a vehicle and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.
● Brandon L. Broege, 23, Loves Park, Illinois, was arrested June 7 on a charge of operating while intoxicated and cited for littering.
Brodhead Police
BRODHEAD — For the week of June 7-13, police performed 36 security checks, 28 citizen assists, nine assists of other agencies, four follow-ups to incidents, 23 vehicle registrations and seven traffic stops; responded to 21 calls for service and reported 10 EMS calls, 12 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and two fire calls. No mental health or detox transports were reported.
On June 7:
● A 20-year-old Brodhead male was arrested at 5:37 p.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and failure to install an ignition interlock device.
On June 9:
● A dog at large was reported at 9:40 a.m. in the 700 block of 10th Street. The owner was warned.
● A traffic hazard of a tree that had fallen across the road was reported at 9:21 p.m. in the 800 block of East 4th Avenue. Brodhead Water & Light and the Brodhead Streets Department assisted police with removing the tree and repairing an electrical line to a residence.
● A Delavan man, 34, was arrested at 11:06 p.m. in the 500 block of East 3rd Avenue on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and intimidation of a victim.
On June 10:
● Slashed vehicle tires were reported at 7:50 a.m. in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue.
● A dog running at large was reported at 3:53 p.m. in the 300 block of 8th Street. The owner was warned.
● Fraud was reported at 6:56 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 2nd Avenue. A person reported being blackmailed into paying another person money. The complainant was advised this was a scam call and to not give any money or information to the scammer.
On June 11:
● A Janesville man, 26, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated and possessing drug paraphernalia at 8:08 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.
On June 12:
● An ATV violation involving an ATV speeding and almost hitting someone was reported at 6:34 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue. The ATV was not located.
Darlington Police
DARLINGTON — Robert Leroy Pilgrim Jr., 46, Spring Green, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 11:19 p.m. June 4 on Harriet Street.
● Jordan E. Page, 19, Platteville, was cited for transporting intoxicants as a minor at about 10 p.m. June 5 on Wis. 23.
● Jackie E. Carter, 42, Mineral Point, was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for driving with a revoked license following a traffic stop at 10:38 p.m. June 5 on Main Street.
● Jonathon L. Nath, 35, Freeport, was cited for possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia and open intoxicants in a motor vehicle at 11:35 p.m. June 5 on Wis. 23.
● Salvador A. Amaya-Mendoza, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license and failure to stop at a stop sign at about 6:40 p.m. June 6.
● Maria E. Salazar, 47, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license, speeding and no proof of vehicle insurance at 5:57 p.m. June 8 on Galena Street.
Green County Sheriff
MONROE — Ryan T. King, 35, Monroe, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after deputies responded at 12:51 p.m. June 8 to the N5500 block of County N, Town of Washington. He was also placed on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections probation hold. He was jailed.
On June 10:
● Mark A. Elmer, 44, Browntown, was arrested on a domestic abuse-related charge of intimidation of a victim after deputies responded at 4:17 p.m. to a residence in the N2400 block of Van Matre Lane, Town of Clarno, for a report of a disturbance. The Wisconsin Department of Corrections placed a probation hold on Elmer. He was jailed pending court.
● Marcus J. Phiffer, 24, Monroe, turned himself in on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 7:03 p.m. at the sheriff’s office. He was jailed.
● Martin Lopez Torres, 32, Monroe, was cited for second-offense driving without a valid license after deputies stopped him for speeding at 7:33 a.m. in the N3400 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe.
On June 14:
● David W. Kuberski, 51, Monroe, and Kenneth W. Kuberski, 75, Crystal Lake, Illinois, were both cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 1:51 a.m. to a residence in the W8400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan, for a report of a disturbance.
● Nicholas J. Roth, 40, Orfordville, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense), speeding and display of unauthorized registration plates after deputies stopped him at 10:23 a.m. in the N5300 block of Wis. 104, Town of Albany.
● Matthew W. Douglas, 63, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 12:34 p.m. to the W700 block of Ten Eyck Road, Town of Decatur, for a report of a disturbance.
Lafayette County Sheriff
DARLINGTON — On May 30:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 7:25 p.m. on Butts Road, Town of Wayne. A homeowner found a large white rag in the chimney and wasn’t sure where it came from but suspected an ex-husband.
● Ashley M. Holder, 25, Benton, is being referred to the District Attorney for possible charges after deputies responded at 8:19 p.m. to Railroad Avenue in Benton for a disorderly conduct complaint. Shullsburg police assisted on scene. The offense did not rise to the level of a mandatory arrest and the sheriff’s office is continuing to avoid jail traffic when not necessary.
● Jordan J. Torstenson, 29, Mineral Point, was arrested by Darlington police on charges of disorderly conduct and first-offense operating while intoxicated after a deputy responded at 9:58 p.m. to Stone Road, Town of Willow Springs, for a domestic dispute. Darlington police, Mineral Point police and the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene. Torstenson was taken to the jail, booked and later released on cash bond.
● A noise complaint was reported at 11:40 p.m. on Park Street in Benton.
On May 31:
● Suspicious activity was reported at 12:32 a.m. on West Main Street in Benton. A responding deputy found seven young people playing basketball in a closed park. The deputy issued a warning and asked them to go home.
● A deputy encountered a disabled vehicle at 1:37 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Shullsburg.
● Phone harassment between friends and family was reported at 2:43 p.m. on Keep Street in Darlington.
● A deputy responded at 3:54 a.m. to Galena Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with a hit-and-run incident.
● An ATV complaint was reported at 9:16 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.
● A traffic hazard was reported at 11:24 a.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.
● An animal problem was reported at 2:32 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 10:04 p.m. on West Hill Street in Blanchardville.
On June 1:
● A disorderly disturbance was reported at 12:27 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 3:24 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. It was an anonymous complaint, later determined to be unfounded, that people were taking things from a closed Amish store.
● Deputies responded at 4:21 pm. to Stockton, Illinois, to assist the Jo Daviess Sheriff’s Office.
● A traffic complaint was reported at 5 p.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Seymour.
● A vehicle lockout was reported at 6:49 p.m. on Bader Way in Shullsburg.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 6:52 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.
● Harassment was reported at 8:19 p.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle. The complainant reported being threatened by someone through TikTok.
● A juvenile problem was reported at 8:23 p.m. on Noble Street in Gratiot. A foster child was not listening to foster parents.
● William L. Fish, 22, Urbana, Iowa, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 8:56 p.m. on County O, Town of White Oak Springs.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 10:03 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.
● Alexander M. Hernandez, 18, Darlington, was arrested by Darlington police in the city at 10:28 p.m. on a charge of possessing THC. He was transported to the jail, where he was booked and posted bond. He was also cited for failure to maintain a high-mounted stop lamp. The Darlington K9 Unit assisted on scene.
On June 2:
● A traffic complaint was reported at 11:22 a.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
● A deputy responded at 12:14 p.m. to Alvin Street in Blanchardville for a citizen assist.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:09 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 8:18 p.m. on First Street in Benton.
● A traffic hazard was reported at 8:46 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.
● Suspicious activity was reported at 9:54 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.
● A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 11:35 p.m. on Washington Street in Darlington.
● A deputy responded at 11:39 p.m. to Galena Street in Argyle for a citizen assist. The Argyle Fire Department assisted on scene.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 11:50 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.
On June 3:
● A 911 call at 1:44 a.m. from West Grove Street in South Wayne had no one on the line but loud noises could be heard in the background. Deputies responded and found the call was from people trying to catch a dog that got loose.
● A 911 misdial was reported at 10:10 a.m. on Lincicum Road, Town of Wayne.
● A civil dispute was reported at 4:22 p.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.
● Harassment was reported at 4:49 p.m. on County N, Town of Wayne. It involved a profanity-laced phone call related to a custody dispute.
● Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:01 p.m. on County D, Town of Lamont.
On June 4:
● Philip L. Crooks, 45, Argyle, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of false imprisonment, disorderly conduct and harassment after deputies responded at 12:32 a.m. to his residence on Spruce Street in Argyle. He was jailed.
● A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:36 a.m. on Engelke Drive in Belmont.
● A traffic hazard was reported at 11:53 a.m. on East Platteville Avenue in Belmont. Belmont police assisted a deputy on scene.
● An erratic driver was reported at 12:24 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.
● Kevin A. Ward, 25, Freeport, was cited for speeding at 4:11 p.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.
