Albany Police

ALBANY — Andrew J. Wachal, 20, Brodhead, was cited for inattentive driving Wednesday, July 17.

On Saturday, July 20:

●  Mason R. Ripp, 21, Waunakee, was cited for urinating in public.

●  Emily A. Panis, 36, Madison, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and driving without vehicle insurance.

●  John M. Casey, 25, Madison, was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  Matthew J. Franklin, 29, Orfordville, was cited for disorderly conduct.

●  Amber R. Brown, 39, Madison, was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  Jade C. Siembida, 35, Madison, was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

On Sunday, July 21:

●  Rachel A. Eloranta, 27, Madison, was cited for disorderly conduct.

●  Tyler J. Chitwood, 18, Sun Prairie, was arrested on charges of violating the Absolute Sobriety Law, failure to obey a traffic sign and underage drinking.

●  Kennedy A. Kaltenberg, 18, Verona, was cited for underage drinking.

●  Raene A. Ganal, 18, Sun Prairie, was cited for underage drinking.

●  James A. Wipperfurth, 23, Madison, was arrested on charges of operating while under the influence of alcohol (first offense), operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and operating left of the center line.


Brodhead Police 

BRODHEAD — For the week of July 14-20, police performed 65 security checks, 31 citizen assists, 25 assists of other agencies, 14 vehicle registrations and eight follow-ups to incidents; responded to 18 calls for service, six EMS calls, four fire calls and 15 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made four traffic stops. One detox transport and one mental health transport were reported.

On Sunday, July 14:

●  An Argyle woman, 36, was cited for speeding at 4:43 p.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A code violation of grass blown onto the roadway was reported at 6:09 p.m. in the 300 block of 7th Street. Upon police arrival, no violation was located.

●  An Evansville woman, 32, was cited for speeding at 9:43 p.m. in the 400 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Monday, July 15:

●  A domestic problem involving a couple having a verbal dispute was reported at 10:09 p.m. in the 1000 block of 13th Street. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

On Tuesday, July 16:

●  A code violation of grass blown onto the roadway was reported at 10:12 a.m. in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued a warning.

On Wednesday, July 17:

●  An animal without food or water was reported at 9:22 a.m. in the 600 block of 10th Street. Police determined the animal was being properly cared for.

●  A Brodhead man, 26, was cited for making an improper turn at 9:32 a.m. in the 900 block of 16th Street, following a traffic crash.

●  A parking complaint about a vehicle left in a private parking lot was reported at 3:27 p.m. in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police made contact, and the vehicle was removed.

On Thursday, July 18:

●  Vandalism involving damage to a gas tank was reported at 11:53 a.m. in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 2:57 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police located the vehicle, and the person returned to pay for the fuel.

On Friday, July 19:

●  Vandalism involving damage to a park bathroom was reported at 8:50 a.m. in the 300 block of 4th Street.

●  A two-vehicle accident was reported at 8:58 p.m. in the 600 block of 14th Street. A vehicle had backed into a legally parked vehicle. No citations were issued.

●  A fireworks complaint was reported at 9:44 p.m. in the 1700 block of West 6th Avenue. Police did not locate the violation.

On Saturday, July 20:

●  A dog at large was reported at 7:12 a.m. in the 900 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police contacted the owner, who responded to retrieve the dog from the Police Department. A verbal warning was issued.

●  Trespassing was reported at 12:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police determined no violation was committed.

●  Police were requested to check the welfare of a person at 5:51 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. The person had not been heard from in an extended period of time, but upon arrival, the subject had made contact.

●  A dog at large was reported at 11:17 p.m. in the 500 block of 5th Street. Police warned the owner.

●  A possible domestic dispute was reported at 11:39 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue. Police made contact, and all parties were fine.


Monroe Police 

MONROE — Olivia Garnett Schumacher-Griseta, 31, Monroe, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 2000 block of 14th Avenue at 11:17 p.m. Wednesday, July 17. A 43-year-old Monroe man reported minor injuries from the incident. Schumacher-Griseta was jailed pending court.

On Thursday, July 18:

●  David J. Oliver, 19, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a report of a fight happening on the street at 7:59 p.m. in the 700 block of 8th Street. According to witness reports, Oliver spotted a person he had bad feelings for and proceeded to confront and shove him. No injuries were reported. Oliver was booked and released after posting bail.

●  Kyle L. Gilbertson, 18, Monroe, was arrested on two counts of physical abuse to a child and two counts of disorderly conduct at 10:45 p.m. at the Green County Fairgrounds, following an investigation into an incident two hours earlier at the same location. Gilbertson allegedly started a fight with a 16-year-old Monroe boy, and when the boy’s 16-year-old girlfriend stepped in, Gilbertson reportedly punched both of them, causing minor injuries. He was jailed pending court.

On Friday, July 19:

●  Dan M. Hansen, 35, Verona, was arrested on a felony Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant after officers responded at 6:20 p.m. to the 2300 block of 5th Avenue for a report of a subject with a possible warrant. He was jailed.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Margarita I. Jimenez-Garcia, 30, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of disorderly conduct at 11:11 p.m. Friday, July 19, at a residence in the W900 block of Pedee Road, Town of Spring Grove.

●  Matthew S. Petrovich, 30, Chicago, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of a domestic-related disorderly conduct at 5:53 p.m. Saturday, July 20, at a residence in the W1200 block of Decatur Albany Road, Town of Albany. He was jailed pending court or cash bond.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, July 14:

●  Timothy J. Dittmer, 59, Lena, was cited for an expired vehicle registration and driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 2:42 a.m. on County P, Town of Monticello.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:23 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 6:03 p.m. on West Harrison Street in Shullsburg.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 8:41 p.m. on Red Rock Road, Town of Darlington.

On Monday, July 15:

●  A deputy encountered a suspicious vehicle at 2:29 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. As a result, Catherine E. Fair, 29, Belmont, was cited for driving without a valid license and without vehicle insurance.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 11:09 a.m. on South Lake Road, Town of Fayette.

●  A traffic hazard of a tree in the roadway was reported at 11:57 a.m. on Old Q Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  Trespassing was reported at 2:33 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  An animal problem was reported at 3:55 p.m. on East Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:42 p.m. on County D, Town of Fayette.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 7:17 p.m. on Truman Road, Town of Kendall.

●  A restraining order violation was reported at 8:05 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:39 p.m. on Ohnstad Road, Town of Darlington. Darlington police assisted deputies on scene.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with an alarm at 9:31 p.m. on Main Street in Darlington.

On Tuesday, July 16:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 2:27 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 5:08 a.m. on County H, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 2:11 p.m. on South Broad Street in Argyle.

●  Lemuel A. Page, 25, Mineral Point, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence following a traffic stop at 4:19 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs. He was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, operating left of center and driving without vehicle insurance. He was transported to the jail and later released.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 6:32 p.m. on High Street, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with assisting a citizen at 9:26 p.m. on East River Street in Darlington.

On Wednesday, July 17:

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:29 a.m. on Fork Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 4:42 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  Alden Caludio-Mejia, 47, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance after a deputy responded to a report of a disabled vehicle at 6:16 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:10 a.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 1:05 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont.

●  An injured animal was reported at 2:58 p.m. on Mound View Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:45 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 6:13 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  A deputy responded to assist a citizen at 7:15 p.m. on South Green Street in Argyle.
