Monroe Police

MONROE — Kevin H. Pryce, 54, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated after officers were called to a report of a vehicle parked in the intersection of 11th Street and 18th Avenue at 11:29 p.m. July 13. Pryce was also cited for improper parking/stopping. He was jailed pending further action.

●  Jason L. Barry, 43, Monroe, was arrested at 11:47 p.m. July 15 following a traffic stop in the 2200 block of 17th Street. He was charged with first-offense operating while intoxicated and cited for operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration, without tail lights and no vehicle insurance. He was booked and released to a responsible person pending court.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of July 5-11, police performed 63 security checks, 20 citizen assists, 14 assists of other agencies, 24 follow-ups to incidents, 18 vehicle registrations and five traffic stops; responded to 51 calls for service and reported six EMS calls, 14 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and two fire calls. One detox transport and no mental health transports were reported.

On July 5:

●  Damage to two umbrellas was reported at 1:05 a.m. in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue.

●  A violation of park curfew was reported at 10:33 p.m. in the 300 block of 4th Street. Police issued a warning.

On July 6:

●  Vehicles in violation of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance were reported at 2:33 p.m. in the 700 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police checked the vehicles and located no violations.

●  A large amount of debris around a property was reported at 2:36 p.m. in the 100 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  Debris around a property was reported at 2:59 p.m. in the 1200 block of 21st Street. Police issued a warning.

●  Loitering was reported at 7:34 p.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. People were parked in the employee parking lot of a business. Police issued a warning.

●  A broken vehicle window was reported at 11:25 p.m. in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue.

On July 7:

●  Damage to property was reported at 9:55 a.m. in the 100 block of 23rd Street. A car door struck another vehicle. As this incident occurred on private property and the damage was non-reportable, no citations were issued.

●  An unspecified code violation was reported at 4:53 p.m. in the 700 block of East 8th Avenue.

●  A hazard of a tree limb that fell on a power line was reported at 6 p.m. in the 700 block of West 2nd Avenue. Police stood by until Brodhead Water & Light arrived on scene.

●  A Brodhead woman, 20, was cited for driving without a valid license and without proof of vehicle insurance at 7:54 p.m. in the 800 block of 23rd Street.

●  A motor vehicle theft was reported at 10:23 p.m. in the 1500 block of West 2nd Avenue. Prior to officer arrival, the owner located the vehicle.

On July 8:

●  A traffic crash involving a bicyclist hitting a parked car was reported at 12:18 a.m. in the 300 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was cited for junked vehicle storage restrictions at 8:03 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  A dog left in a car was reported at 9:59 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. Police checked on the dog and determined the owner was caring for it and it was in no danger.

●  The theft of a table from a yard was reported at 5:29 p.m. in the 400 block of East 2nd Avenue.

●  A 16-year-old from Davis, Illinois was cited for parking left of center facing traffic at 6:34 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Exchange Street.

●  A domestic problem was reported at 7:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of 13th Street. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

On July 9:

●  A Hammond, Indiana man, 40, was cited for speeding at 9:34 a.m. in the 600 block of 1st Street.

●  A Brodhead man, 20, was cited for driving with a revoked license and for an ignition interlock device violation at 11:27 a.m. in the 500 block of 7th Street.

●  A dog at large was reported at 5:50 p.m. in the 900 block of 19th Street. Police issued a warning.

On July 10:

●  A large amount of refuse around a property was reported at 8:21 a.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. Police issued a warning.

●  Vehicles on a property in violation of the city’s junk vehicle ordinance were reported at 10:16 a.m. in the 1600 block of East 5th Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  A vehicle blocking a driveway was reported at 10:25 a.m. in the 800 block of 9th Street. It was removed prior to the officer’s arrival.

●  A hazard of a shopping cart in the roadway was reported at 3:40 p.m. in the 800 block of 17th Street. The cart was returned to the business.

●  A Brodhead man, 24, was cited for allowing a dog to run at large at 5:12 p.m. in the 700 block of East 5th Avenue.

●  A traffic crash involving a motorcyclist who went down after rounding a corner was reported at 7:21 p.m. in the 200 block of Cedar Avenue. No citations were issued.

●  Loud music coming from a vehicle was reported at 8:46 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street. Police checked the area but no violations were located.

On July 11:

●  Unwanted, harassing messages via Snapchat were reported at 3:43 p.m. in the 200 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police issued a warning.

●  Fireworks violations were reported at 8:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of 21st Street and at 11:32 p.m. in the 1400 block of East 8th Avenue. In both cases, police checked the area but did not locate the source of the violation.


Albany Police

ALBANY — On July 11:

●  Ethan R. Alverson, 23, Tanner L. Alverson, 20, and Riley R. Smith, 24, all of Beloit, were cited for possession of less than 25 grams of THC. Ethan was also cited for driving with a suspended license.

●  Jeffrey W. Meier, 41, Fall River, was cited for failure to obey a traffic sign.

●  Daniel N. Seamonson, 30, Stoughton, was cited for display of unauthorized registration plates.

●  Megan E. Bernards, 24, Footville, was cited for failure to obey a traffic sign.

●  Douglas R. Banks, 64, Dakota, Illinois, was cited for operating an ATV on the roadway.

●  Bob L. Lulinski, 35, Beloit, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and operating left of center.

On July 12:

●  Jamie C. Bolanos, 20, Rockford, and Terrance A. Horton, 22, Roscoe, Illinois, were cited for trespassing.

●  Adam B. Carpenter, 23, Machesney Park, Illinois, was cited for outside consumption of alcohol.

●  Devon R. Smalley, 19, Janesville, was cited for underage drinking and no vehicle insurance.

●  A juvenile was cited for underage drinking.

●  Jeffrey A. Blitch, 23, Machesney Park, Illinois, was arrested on charges of operating while intoxicated, operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and disorderly conduct.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Following a disturbance on Clay Street, Neri Andrade-Mancilla, 26, Belmont, was cited for disorderly conduct and obstructing, and Delmer Moradel-Hernandez, 24, Belmont, was cited for disorderly conduct at 4:34 a.m. June 28.

●  Nicodemus Amayo-Garcia, 26, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of fourth-degree sexual assault at 5:11 p.m. July 2. He was booked at the jail and later released.

●  Nelson Y. Pineda-Herrera, 36, Darlington, was cited for driving with no license and no vehicle insurance and for hit-and-run to an unattended vehicle at 10:30 a.m. July 3 following a traffic crash on East Ann Street.

●  John Hocking, 48, Darlington, was cited for no vehicle insurance and failure to register his motor vehicle at 3 p.m. July 4 following a minor traffic accident on Galena Street.

●  Joshua D. Bockorny, 29, and Jessica R. Bockorny, 32, both of Darlington, were cited for disorderly conduct at about 10 p.m. July 8 following an incident at a residence on Wells Street.

●  After a crash involving two ATVs on Galena Street, Todd J. Postlethwaite, 56, of Golden, Colorado, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated on an ATV at 2:11 a.m. July 10. The other driver, Scott R. Postlethwaite, 56, Rockford, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated on an ATV at 3:14 a.m. Scott was injured in the crash and taken by EMS to Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County, then transferred to a hospital in Madison. Green County EMS of Darlington, the Darlington Fire Department, Belmont police and a Lafayette County deputy assisted on scene.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Randall E. Halvorson, 66, Browntown, was arrested after deputies responded to a report of bail jumping at 5:15 p.m. July 13 at a residence in the 100 block of East Old Highway Road, Town of Cadiz. He was jailed pending court and charged with four counts of felony bail jumping and one count of making contact after a domestic abuse arrest. He is under bond conditions to not drink or go into bars or liquor stores and to have no contact with one individual, her residence or her place of employment, whether directly, by third party, in writing, by phone or by any means other than through an attorney. He posted a $350 cash bond to get out of jail, then was arrested again at the same location at 4:16 p.m. July 15, charged with more counts of felony bail jumping and jailed again.

●  Richard A. Personett, 73, Juda, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies responded at 3:05 p.m. July 14 to a traffic complaint on Wis. 11 at County KK, Town of Sylvester. He was released to a responsible party pending court. Green County EMS assisted on scene.
