Monroe Police

MONROE — On Saturday, June 15:

●  Nathaniel C. Zutz, 24, Madison, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after police responded at 11:22 p.m. to a 911 call reporting an unwanted patron refusing to leave a tavern in the 1400 block of 17th Street. Zutz was released pending court.

On Wednesday, June 19:

●  Officers responded at 11:32 a.m. to the 500 block of West 21st Street to check the welfare of a man who had fallen to the ground and dragged himself under a tree. The man was identified as Clayton A. Ostby, 56, Monroe. He claimed no injuries, but officers determined he was intoxicated. Ostby is under probation conditions prohibiting alcohol consumption. Police contacted the Probation and Parole Office, which placed a hold on Ostby. He was arrested for the violation and transported to the jail without incident.

On Thursday, June 20:

●  Kip A. Bear, 56, Monroe, was arrested on a fourth-offense felony charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 9:27 p.m. in the 1000 block of 20th Avenue. He was also cited for driving without a valid license, driving at an unreasonable and imprudent speed and driving without required headlamps. He was medically cleared at Monroe Clinic, then transported without incident to the jail.

On Saturday, June 22:

●  Trevor G. Affolter-Rutsch, 40, Albany, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 3:13 a.m. in the 800 block of 6th Avenue West. He was also arrested for a probation violation and cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle. He was jailed.

On Saturday, June 22:

●  Bradley A. Miller, 29, Monroe, was arrested on charges of bail jumping following a traffic stop at 8:13 p.m. in the 1600 block of 9th Street. He was jailed.

●  Valerie L. Pick, 54, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated after officers responded to a traffic complaint at 8:14 p.m. on a driver in the 200 block of North 18th Avenue. Pick was booked and then released to a responsible party pending court.

On Tuesday, June 25:

●  Zarron J. Decorah, 28, Fond du Lac, was arrested on a hold issued by the Wisconsin Community Corrections Division of Probation and Parole for violating his terms of probation following a traffic stop at 7:22 p.m. in the 2600 block of 14th Street. He was jailed.

On Wednesday, July 3:

●  Timothy D. Kennedy, 37, Monroe, was arrested at 4:28 p.m. on a hold issued by Wisconsin Community Corrections for a probation violation following a traffic stop in the 700 block of 21st Street. He was also cited for driving with a revoked license and failing to install an ignition interlock device. He was jailed.

●  Olivia G. Schumacher-Griseta, 31, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic abuse laws after officers responded at 8:05 p.m. to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the 2200 block of 14th Avenue. She was jailed.

On Thursday, July 4:

●  Guadalupe S. Gomez, 21, Monroe, was arrested at 9:26 p.m. in the 1100 block of 16th Avenue on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Division of Probation and Parole. He was jailed.

On Saturday, July 6:

●  Clayton A. Ostby, 56, Monroe, was arrested at 4:25 p.m. in the 500 block of West 21st Street on a state probation and parole warrant. He was jailed.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Kevon D. Huff, 27, Freeport, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, in the 200 block of Industrial Drive, New Glarus, on a warrant issued through Cook County, Illinois. He was jailed pending extradition to Illinois.

●  Christopher W. Engel, 55, Freeport, was arrested on a Green County warrant after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding at 5:25 p.m. Thursday, July 4, in the N3400 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was jailed.

On Friday, July 5:

●  Amanda M. Malmquist, 38, Browntown, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery after deputies responded to a domestic abuse incident at 8:06 a.m. in the W7900 block of Wis. 11, Town of Cadiz. She was jailed pending cash bond or an initial court appearance.

●  Keriana R. Mataya, 22, Dodgeville, was cited for disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a disturbance between three females at 4:40 p.m. in the W7400 block of Wis. 39, Town of York.

●  Deputies responded to a traffic complaint at 6:32 p.m. and located the vehicle later at the Phillips 66 gas station in Monroe. An investigation led to the arrest of Cathy L. Aurand, 50, Lena, on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated. She was later released to a responsible party pending court.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of June 30-July 6, police performed 56 security checks, 39 citizen assists, nine assists of other agencies, 12 vehicle registrations and 11 follow-ups to incidents; responded to 42 calls for service, 11 EMS calls, two fire calls and 10 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made 14 traffic stops. No mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Sunday, June 30:

●  Harassment involving unwanted text messages was reported at 12:21 p.m. in the 200 block of 2nd Street.

●  A Brodhead man, 52, was cited for non-registration of an auto at 7:58 p.m. in the 1200 block of 21st Street.

●  A domestic problem was reported at 9:45 p.m. in the 300 block of 3rd Street. It was referred to the Green County District Attorney’s Office.

●  A person refusing to leave a residence was reported at 11:25 p.m. in the 400 block of 12th Street. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

On Monday, July 1:

●  Harassment involving unwanted contact was reported at 8:04 a.m. in the 1300 block of East 3rd Avenue. Police issued a warning.
