DARLINGTON — On Friday, Jan. 11:

●  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 9:41 a.m. on Chestnut Street in Belmont.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 10:25 a.m. on Noble Street in Gratiot.

●  Eric J. Vernhagen, 39, Huntley, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 10:54 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Brenden D. Hills, 19, Janesville, was cited for speeding and driving without vehicle insurance at 2:47 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Timothy A. Fitzsimons, 28, Darlington, was arrested at 6:33 p.m. on a probation and parole warrant. He was jailed. The Darlington Police Department assisted on scene.

●  An animal problem was reported at 8:05 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  Roger J. Tuescher, 55, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of criminal damage to property after a deputy responded at 9:45 p.m. to West Water Street in Shullsburg to assist Shullsburg police with a disorderly conduct complaint. He was jailed.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 10:27 p.m. on County U, Town of White Oak Springs.

On Saturday, Jan. 12:

●  A deputy assisted with traffic control at 12:47 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 2:50 p.m. on North State Street in Argyle.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 4:20 p.m. on Dimmicks Road, Town of Monticello.

●  A deputy came across a disabled vehicle at 4:21 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded at 5:17 p.m. to assist the Cuba City Police Department on South Lincoln Street in Cuba City.

●  Carla T. Treuthardt, 51, Argyle, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and no vehicle insurance at 7:40 p.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  Crystal A. Roesch, 32, Bagley, was cited for loud vehicle exhaust at 10:29 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

On Sunday, Jan. 13:

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 6:22 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 8:49 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 11:56 a.m. on Apple Branch Road, Town of Argyle.

●  An animal bite was reported at 1:16 p.m. on Monroe Street in Argyle.

●  Blake A. Herman, 19, Benton, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 4:55 p.m. on Wisconsin Street in Darlington. He was taken to the jail, where he was booked and released.

●  Carlos J. Wilson, 19, Shullsburg, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance or a valid driver’s license and non-registration of a vehicle at 8:01 p.m. on Mineral Road, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded at 8:44 p.m. to assist the Shullsburg Police Department with a theft complaint on East High Street in Shullsburg.

On Monday, Jan. 14:

●  Loren C. Bowen, 31, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 12 a.m. to a report of suspicious activity on North Judgement Street in Shullsburg. He was jailed.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 5:27 p.m. on Sheldon Street in Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 5:38 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

●  Michael J. Edge, 32, Dodgeville, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 8:05 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

On Tuesday, Jan. 15:

A deputy responded for a welfare check at 12:08 a.m. on West Church Street in Shullsburg.

●  Shane D. Fink, 25, Benton, was cited for driving without proof of vehicle insurance at 7:49 a.m. on Wis. 126, Town of Elk Grove.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 7:51 a.m. on Cross Street in Blanchardville.

●  Kameron R. Van Natta, 18, Janesville, was cited for speeding at 10:26 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Benton.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 11:49 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 10:57 a.m. on East Lamont Road, Town of Lamont.

●  Todd A. Van Ostrand, 58, East Dubuque, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 4:05 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Jacob K. Runkle, 18, Hazel Green, was arrested on a Grant County warrant and transported to the Grant County Jail following a traffic stop at 7:36 p.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg. He was also cited for driving without vehicle insurance.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 8:54 p.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.

On Jan. 17:

●  Kevin J. Philbin, 52, Glenview, Illinois, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies responded at 12:01 a.m. to a disorderly conduct complaint on South Division Street in South Wayne. He was transported to the jail and later released.

●  Leslie R. Roos, 72, Hazel Green, was cited for speeding at 12:04 a.m. on County W, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  Justin R. Thede, 24, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was arrested on charges of possessing meth and drug paraphernalia after deputies responded at 12:32 a.m. to assist the Belmont Police Department with a traffic stop on U.S. 151. Belmont EMS and the Grant County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.

●  Richard N. Schauer, 37, Belmont, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 5:52 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  Eric Martinez-Mendez, 38, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense) and Lucero Guerrero-Luna, 33, Darlington, was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to drive at 9:43 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 11:23 a.m. on County K, Town of Darlington.

●  Felipa P. Alonso, 37, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance and operating left of center at 11:54 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded at 2:01 p.m. to Palfrey Road, Town of New Diggings, to assist the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

●  An animal bite was reported at 2:10 p.m. on Sales Barn Road, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Colin J. Cleary, 29, Shullsburg, was cited for allowing livestock on a highway after a deputy responded at 3:26 p.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on Dimmicks Road, Town of Monticello.

●  Michelle P. Dumoulin, 25, Hampshire, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 5:01 p.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Jan. 20-26, police performed 16 security checks, 34 citizen assists, four assists of other agencies, seven vehicle registrations and seven follow-ups to incidents; responded to eight calls for service, 11 EMS calls, two fire calls and seven 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made two traffic stops. There were no mental health or detox transports.

●  A juvenile causing a disturbance was reported in the 300 block of 3rd Street at 5:02 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. Police warned the juvenile for disorderly conduct.

●  A code violation of a sidewalk not cleared of snow and ice was reported in the 900 block of West Exchange Street at 1:25 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21. Police made contact, and the issue was resolved.

●  A theft of an item of undisclosed value was reported in the 1000 block of 1st Center Avenue at 2:39 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21.

●  A Brodhead man, 39, was cited for driving without a valid license in the 1100 block of 17th Street at 7:08 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22.

●  Six citations were issued Wednesday, Jan. 23, for violations of the city’s winter parking ordinance.

●  A Brodhead man, 42, was arrested for a probation violation in the 600 block of West 2nd Avenue at 4:48 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

●  A Janesville woman, 33, was cited for not having motor vehicle liability insurance in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue at 9:35 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

●  Damage to outdoor lighting was reported in the 900 block of West Exchange Street at 6:07 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe at 3:23 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, and arrested Robyn N. Flannery, 35, Juda, on a probation hold placed on her by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She was jailed.

On Saturday, Jan. 26:

●  Alex W. Smith, 31, Brodhead, was arrested on a second-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies, Brodhead police and Brodhead EMS responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch at 3:21 a.m. in the W300 block of Decatur Road, Town of Decatur. Smith was released pending court. 

●  Kristen M. Diehl, 30, Mount Morris, Illinois, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol and cited for speeding at 9:29 p.m. in the N4400 block of Wis. 104, Town of Decatur. She was released pending court.
