MONROE — Ana J. Torres, 31, Freeport, was arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct under Wisconsin’s domestic violence laws after officers responded to a disturbance in the 800 block of 6th Street at 12:01 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17. She was booked, posted bail and was released pending court. 


Green County Sheriff 

MONROE — Julian De La Cruz Martinez, 34, Darlington, was cited for driving with a revoked license (alcohol-related revocation) and without a valid license (second offense) at 5:52 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, in the W8400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan.

●  Kody R. Spohn, 21, Albany, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while under the influence of alcohol after deputies responded to a report of a vehicle in the ditch in the N4900 block of Condon Road, Town of Albany, at 1:07 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16. Spohn reported he had swerved to miss a deer and his vehicle became stuck in the ditch. He was released pending court.

●  Markus W. Zielinski, 39, Monroe, was cited for possession of marijuana after deputies stopped a vehicle for speeding in the W2000 block of Wis. 11, Town of Spring Grove, at 3 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 17.

DARLINGTON — On Thursday, Feb. 14:

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 1:29 a.m. on 1st Street in Benton.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 1:39 p.m. on West Mound View Avenue in Belmont.

●  A suspicious vehicle was reported at 5:51 p.m. on Phillips Street in Gratiot.

●  Deputies responded to assist the Grant County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic dispute at 9:13 p.m. on South Washington Street in Cuba City.

●  Quinton J. Smith, 27, Platteville, was cited for driving with a suspended license, a suspended vehicle registration and no vehicle insurance and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia at 11:54 p.m. on County O, Town of Shullsburg.

On Friday, Feb. 15:

●  Amanda J. Elmer, 37, Monroe, was cited for permitting an unauthorized person to drive at 2:11 a.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.

●  Deputies responded to assist Shullsburg police with an alarm at 7:51 a.m. on West Water Street in Shullsburg.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 2:32 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 6:08 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Jackson A. Froning, 18, Rock City, Illinois, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded at 7:03 p.m. to West Center Street in South Wayne. He was jailed.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 7:54 p.m. on Galena Street in Benton.

●  Xavier Z. Taylor, 20, South Wayne, was cited for speeding, driving without vehicle insurance and improper repair of a vehicle exhaust system at 8:14 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

On Saturday, Feb. 16:

●  Deputies responded at 6:29 a.m. to West Mary Street in Darlington to assist Darlington police with locating a subject.

●  A deputy responded to provide traffic control at 7:51 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded for a welfare check at 10:27 a.m. on North Splinter Street in Cuba City.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 11:08 a.m. on East Truth Street in Shullsburg.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a domestic dispute at 12:05 p.m. on West Mary Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 3:58 p.m. on Oak Street in Blanchardville.

●  Jared M. Kingery, 20, Gratiot, was arrested on a warrant at 8:12 p.m. and transported to the jail, where he posted bond.

On Sunday, Feb. 17:

●  Deputies responded at 1:08 a.m. to assist Jo Daviess County on State Line Road, Town of Gratiot.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 6:08 p.m. on County B, Town of Wayne.

●  Jeremy B. Mueller, 29, Lena, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 11:54 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.
