Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Feb. 9-15, police performed nine security checks, 34 citizen assists, 10 assists of other agencies, 17 follow-ups to incidents and seven vehicle registrations; responded to 33 calls for service, seven EMS calls, two fire calls and 11 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made one traffic stop. No mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Sunday, Feb. 9:

●  Parking citations for parking left of center facing traffic were issued at 2:27 a.m. in the 900 block of East 3rd Avenue and at 2:35 a.m. in the 500 block of 7th Street.

●  A Brodhead woman, 41, was cited for driving too fast for conditions at 12:32 p.m. in the 2300 block of 1st Center Avenue, following a traffic crash.

●  A Brodhead man, 16, was cited for reckless driving at 4:19 p.m. in the 1200 block of East 4th Avenue.

●  Four winter parking citations were issued between 9:02 p.m. and 10:04 p.m. in the 100 block of Cedar Avenue, 1500 block of West 4th Avenue, 900 block of 15th Street and 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue.

On Monday, Feb. 10:

●  A winter parking citation was issued at 12:27 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue.

●  A Brodhead man, 16, was cited for failure to yield at an uncontrolled intersection at 7:53 a.m. in the 700 block of 23rd Street, following a traffic crash. A Brodhead man, 35, was also cited for driving without a valid license.

●  Theft was reported at 8:28 a.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  A juvenile was cited for underage possession of tobacco at 1:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of West 5th Avenue.

●  A Brodhead woman, 34, was cited for failing to license a dog and keeping a vicious dog at 3:07 p.m. in the 1200 block of West 4th Avenue.

●  A Brodhead woman, 31, was cited for issuing worthless checks at 2:49 p.m. in the 1600 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday, Feb. 13:

●  A Brodhead woman, 16, was cited for driving too fast for conditions at 7:49 a.m. in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue, following a traffic crash.

●  A Janesville man, 30, was arrested on domestic abuse-related charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 2:56 p.m. in the 800 block of West 2nd Avenue.

●  A Brodhead man, 18, was cited for driving without a valid license, no proof of vehicle insurance, obstructed driver’s vision and disturbing of the peace with a motor vehicle at 9:27 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Friday, Feb. 14:

●  A parking citation for parking left of center facing traffic was issued at 2:40 a.m. in the 1100 block of West 5th Avenue.

On Saturday, Feb. 15:

●  A citation for violation of the 48-hour parking ordinance was issued at 5:02 a.m. in the 1200 block of East 5th Avenue.


Monroe Police

MONROE — On Friday, Feb. 14:

●  Officers were called to a disturbance in the 1900 block of 10th Street at 12:49 a.m., and investigation led to the arrest in the 500 block of 21st Street of Shawn M. Hopkins, 29, Monroe, on four counts of bail jumping, due to a violation of court-ordered bail conditions on prior cases which prohibited consuming alcohol. He was jailed pending court.

●  Travis C. Edmunds, 18, Monticello, was arrested on a charge of retail theft and cited for underage possession of alcohol after officers responded at 5:51 p.m. to the 300 block of 6th Avenue West for a report of shoplifting. He was released pending court.


Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Feb. 2:

●  Isaias Amayo-Tlehuactle, 28, Darlington, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 12:08 a.m. following a traffic stop on Galena Street. He was also cited for driving without a valid license.

●  William De La Fuenta-Guevara, 21, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 10:17 a.m. following a complaint on Spring Street.

●  Alan D. Bennett, 51, Shullsburg, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 3:58 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, on Galena Street.

●  Ronald A. Turcios-Martinez, 18, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license at 1:32 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, on West River Street.

●  Melody Tolodxi, 28, and Cole Meier, 25, both of Winslow, were cited for theft on Feb. 7 following an investigation into a Jan. 29 retail theft at a business on Wis. 23.

●  Anibal Martinez-Ortez, 23, Darlington, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, following a domestic altercation on East Harriet Street. He was booked at the jail and later released after posting bond.

●  Onieris Y. Argueta-Gutirrez, 22, Darlington, was cited for driving without a valid license and having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle at about 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, following a welfare check on a man sleeping in a vehicle on Main Street.

On Tuesday, Feb. 11:

●  Dakota M. Paulson, 18, Darlington, was cited for tobacco use in school at about 1:30 a.m. following a complaint at Darlington High School.

●  Joseph R. Geach, 28, Winslow, was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and non-registration of an auto at about 4:15 a.m. following a traffic stop on Wis. 81.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Timothy L. Pope, 39, Brodhead, was arrested at the Green County Justice Center at 9:21 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, on four counts each of misdemeanor bail jumping, misdemeanor credit card fraud and felony misappropriation of identity information. He was jailed pending court.

●  Beau L. Stuhr, 36, Brodhead, was arrested on a warrant at the Green County Probation and Parole Office at 2:44 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5. He was jailed.

●  Robert P. Olson Jr., 37, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant at the Green County Probation and Parole Office at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 6. He was jailed.

On Sunday, Feb. 9:

●  Guillermo Trinidad Soberano, 38, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense) and for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle following a traffic stop at 2 a.m. in the N3200 block of Wis. 81, Town of Monroe. A passenger, Marlene Sanchez De La Cruz, 36, Monroe, was also cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle.

●  Andrew A. Kapke, 50, Brodhead, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated following a traffic stop at 2:49 a.m. for a violation in the N1300 block of Mount Hope Road, Town of Spring Grove. He was also cited for having open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and failure to maintain control of a vehicle. He was booked at the jail and released pending court.

On Monday, Feb. 10:

●  Christopher J. Fillner, 49, Brooklyn, was arrested at about 4:20 p.m. in the W900 block of Wis. 92, Town of Brooklyn, on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay a fine. He was jailed.

●  Craig T. Coulthard, 39, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal damage to property after deputies responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 6:38 p.m. in the N3900 block of Klondike Road, Town of Jordan. He was taken to the jail and later released.

On Wednesday, Feb. 12:

●  Nicholas J. Roth, 40, Albany, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense within three years) at 9:40 a.m. in the W1000 block of Wis. 92, Town of Brooklyn.

●  Marcus A. Peterson, 31, Brodhead, was arrested on a first-offense charge of driving under the influence of alcohol after deputies stopped him in the W1100 block of Decatur Albany Road, Town of Decatur, at 12:01 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. He was also cited for operating left of center and possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. He was released pending court.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Saturday, Jan. 25:

●  A deputy responded at 11:27 p.m. to U.S. 151, Town fo Belmont, to assist Belmont police with a traffic stop.

●  Joseph A. Aiuppy, 46, Hazel Green, was cited for speeding at 11:56 p.m. on County W Town of White Oak Springs.

On Sunday, Jan. 26:

●  Kristopher A. Leitzinger, 21, Linden, was cited for non-registration of a vehicle and no vehicle insurance at 2:38 a.m. on County P, Town of Gratiot.

●  Threats being made was reported at 7:52 a.m. on Gun Club Road, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal problem was reported at 10:08 a.m. on Wardsville Road, Town of Seymour.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 4:54 p.m. on South Division Street in South Wayne.

●  Richard M. Messling, 19, Byron, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 7:32 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

On Monday, Jan. 27:

●  Livestock in the roadway was reported at 6:15 a.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 7 a.m. on County M, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 12:12 p.m. on Leahy Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 4:31 p.m. on Porter Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 6:30 p.m. on Grant Street in Argyle.

On Tuesday, Jan. 28:

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 3:15 a.m. on Yellowstone Church Road, Town of Blanchard.

●  A deputy responded to unlock a vehicle at 3:53 a.m. on Miner Way in Shullsburg.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 6:46 a.m. on Roller Coaster Road, Town of Darlington.

●  An injured deer was reported at 9:09 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Lamont.

●  Sheila M. Bredeson, 49, Darlington, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 10:34 a.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Marlon A. Serrano, 26, Belmont, was arrested on charges of bail jumping and driving with a revoked license at 1:31 p.m. on Wis. 81 at Prairie Road, Town of Seymour. He was jailed.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:18 p.m. on County E, Town of Darlington. As a result, Sandra Aguirre-Roque, 30, Darlington, was cited for driving left of center, driving without a valid license and no vehicle insurance.

●  Nathan V. Robb, 37, Darlington, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 9:19 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with an alarm at 9:50 p.m. on Wis. 23 in Darlington.

On Wednesday, Jan. 29:

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 12:45 a.m. on West Commerce Street in Belmont.

●  A hit-and-run crash was reported at 7:23 a.m. in Argyle. A 2009 Kia was being driven outside a business on West Milwaukee Street when the brakes went out, causing the vehicle to run into the side of the building. The driver left the scene. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed.

●  Deputies responded to provide traffic control at 9:47 a.m. on Wis. 11 in Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 10:33 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 12:18 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

●  Diane L. Yates, 61, Darlington, was cited for speeding and non-registration of a motor vehicle at 6:36 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Richard J. Randecker, 55, Benton, was cited for speeding, no vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended license at 7:57 p.m. on White Oak Cemetery Road, Town of White Oak Springs.

●  Dakota J. McCallister, 19, Darlington, was cited for no proof of vehicle insurance at 8:34 p.m. on Alice Street in Darlington.

On Thursday, Jan. 30:

●  Christine E. Kamps, 48, Darlington, was cited for speeding at 6:12 a.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  A deputy responded to assist with traffic control at 2:56 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont.
