Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Aniceto Salazar Alarcon, 30, Darlington, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at a residence in the 500 block of St. Clare Court in Monroe on a Green County warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released after posting bond.

●  Timothy J. Decker, 38, Juda, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. Nov. 25 in the W2900 block of Main Street, Town of Jefferson, on charges of disorderly conduct and intimidation of a victim stemming from a prior investigation. He was jailed pending court.

●  Spring M. Everingham, 43, Beloit, was cited for speeding and driving with a revoked license at 9:03 a.m. Nov. 27 in the W2800 block of Wis. 11, Town of Sylvester.

●  Kassandra L. Gonzalez, 28, Monroe, was arrested on misdemeanor charges of battery, criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct at 3:19 a.m. Nov. 28 at a residence in the W6800 block of County B, Town of Clarno, following a disturbance report. She was released after posting bond.

On Nov. 29:

●  Lonnie L. Krebs, 58, Blanchardville, was cited for trespassing following a report of trespassing on private property at 4:43 p.m. in the W8300 block of Wis. 39, Town of York.

●  A traffic complaint of a vehicle operating left of center was reported at 4:55 p.m. in the W3100 block of County EE, Town of Mount Pleasant. As a result, Timothy J. Disch, 48, Albany, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating under the influence. He was also cited for reckless driving and unsafe lane deviation.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Erick A. Erickson, 40, Monroe, was arrested on a third-offense charge of operating while intoxicated in the 700 block of 17th Street after officers checked the welfare of a person slumped over the wheel of a running parked vehicle at 1:26 a.m. Nov. 27. He was also cited for possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle. He was booked and released after posting bond.

On Nov. 29:

●  Samantha J.S. Goodman, 20, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of violating the absolute sobriety law following a traffic stop at 12:28 a.m. in the 400 block of West 21st Street. She was also cited for driving with a revoked license, OWI-related, and released pending court. A passenger, Alexander K. Schneeberger, 20, Monroe, was cited for second-offense underage drinking.

●  Jonathan M. Wolff, 33, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 2:22 a.m. in the 1700 block of 16th Street, after failing to stop for police for several blocks. He was also cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was released pending court.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Nov. 22 to Nov. 28, police performed 57 security checks, 18 citizen assists, three assists of other agencies, three follow-ups to incidents, one vehicle registration and three traffic stops; responded to 30 calls for service and reported six EMS calls, 12 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls and one fire call. No detox or mental health transports were reported.

●  A domestic problem involving a verbal disagreement was reported at 3:51 p.m. Nov. 22 in the 1000 block of 19th Street. It was referred to the Green County District Attorney’s Office.

●  A gas drive-off was reported at 3:38 p.m. Nov. 23 in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. It was resolved.

On Nov. 25:

●  Suspicious activity involving a person on the roof of a residence was reported at 2:21 a.m. in the 500 block of 1st Center Avenue. Police learned the person was hanging light strands on the roof.

●  A domestic problem involving harassing text messages was reported at 7:16 p.m. to the police department lobby.

●  A Brodhead woman, 39, was cited for inattentive driving, non-registration of vehicle and no vehicle insurance at 10:36 p.m. Nov. 26 in the 200 block of 12th Street following a traffic crash.

●  Suspicious activity involving a vehicle parked on the street with windows down and no license plates was reported at 4:16 p.m. Nov. 27 in the 600 block of East 9th Avenue. Officers were informed the vehicle will be towed.

On Nov. 28:

●  A person causing a disturbance at a residence was reported at 12:28 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 2nd Avenue. A warning was issued. B20-08227

●  A traffic crash involving a vehicle backing into a parked car was reported at 10:57 p.m. in the 900 block of West 2nd Avenue. No citations were issued.


Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON — On Nov. 22:

●  Deputies assisted Green County with a welfare check at 2:40 a.m. on Mink Farm Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Nina M. Zart, 31, Gratiot, was cited for speeding at 4:51 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A deputy found property at 5:36 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with an accident at 7:38 a.m. on East Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded for a recovered vehicle at 10:52 a.m. on Buncombe Road, Town of Benton.

●  An animal problem was reported at 4:17 p.m. on County KK, Town of Gratiot.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 4:32 p.m. on Walnut Street in Belmont.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 5:13 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 6:39 p.m. on County H, Town of Benton.

●  Shaun J. Cooper, 19, Cuba City, was cited for speeding at 9:22 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Elk Grove. 

On Nov. 23:

●  A noise complaint of loud music being played in a vehicle parked on the street was reported at 4:48 a.m. and at 5:14 a.m. on South Warren Street in South Wayne. A deputy responded, and the music was turned down.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 9:44 a.m. on County G, Town of Argyle.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 1:14 p.m. on Ames Road, Town of Darlington.

On Nov. 24:

●  A parking problem was reported at 1:01 a.m. on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  A vehicle in the ditch was reported at 4:19 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington; 5:15 a.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard; 5:45 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Wiota; 6:45 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs; 6:47 a.m. on County Z, Town of Darlington; and at 8:46 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A deputy responded for a citizen assist at 5:01 a.m. on East Lucy Street in Darlington.

●  A traffic hazard was reported at 5:19 a.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:45 a.m. on South Galena Street in South Wayne. Wisconsin State Patrol assisted.

●  An injured animal on the roadway was reported at 9:06 a.m. on North Road, Town of Wayne.

●  Melvin L. Whetstone, 35, Aurora, Illinois, was transported by a deputy to the Lafayette County Jail from Kane County, Illinois at 9:55 a.m. on a Lafayette County warrant for a pending 2017 burglary case. He was jailed.

●  Trespassing was reported at 12:59 p.m. on North Lake Road, Town of Blanchard. It turned out to be deer hunters on land near the property.

●  A deputy assisted another agency with a welfare check at 1:36 p.m. on Main Street in Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:51 p.m. on County B, Town of Belmont.

●  Robert E. Leigh Jr., 54, Potosi, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 7:58 p.m. on County W, Town of New Diggings.

On Nov. 25:

●  A deputy responded for a citizen assist at 1:05 p.m. on Bennett Road, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded for a vehicle unlock at 1:06 p.m. on West Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  A deputy responded for a minor two-vehicle accident at 2:40 p.m. on Bean Street in Benton.

●  Dale J. Hammer Jr., 32, Cuba City, was cited for possession of THC and no vehicle insurance at 4:15 p.m. on County J in Benton.

●  A traffic complaint was reported at 7:18 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  A disabled vehicle was reported at 11:52 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Wayne.

On Nov. 26:

●  Deputies responded for disorderly conduct at 12:28 a.m. on Edison Road, Town of Benton. Cuba City police and a Grant County deputy assisted.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 10:02 a.m. on Walnut Street in Belmont.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 3:21 p.m. on Wis. 78, Town of Argyle, and at 3:58 p.m. on County W, Town of Benton.

●  A disorderly dispute was reported at 4:02 p.m. on Shawnee Road, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Jeremy J. Rutherford, 41, Shullsburg, was cited for no vehicle insurance at 8:08 p.m. on Center Drive Road, Town of Elk Grove.

●  Raymond B. Price-Waddington, 62, Rewey, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 9:45 p.m. on West Mound Road, Town of Belmont.

●  Miscellaneous found property in the roadway was located by a deputy at 1:49 p.m. on Dobbs Road, Town of Darlington.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 2:47 p.m. on County F, Town of Blanchard. It turned out to be a hunting-related matter.

●  An injured animal was reported at 5:29 p.m. on Wis. 78 in Blanchardville.
