Albany Police

ALBANY — A juvenile was cited Nov. 21 for unnecessary display of acceleration.

●  Michelle V. Garcia, 35, Albany, was arrested Nov. 22 on charges of disorderly conduct and physical abuse of a child.

●  Jared M. Burkey, 33, Monroe, was cited Nov. 25 for speeding.

On Sunday, Dec. 1:

●  Montzerrat Garcia-Nieto, 21, Brodhead, was cited for speeding.

●  Pamela K. Alexander, 63, Albany, was cited for speeding.

●  Jay T. Klusendorf, 33, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license and no vehicle insurance.


Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD — For the week of Nov. 24-30, police performed 26 security checks, 39 citizen assists, 11 assists of other agencies, five follow-ups to incidents and 20 vehicle registrations; responded to 17 calls for service, five EMS calls and seven 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls; and made nine traffic stops. No fire calls and no mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Sunday, Nov. 24:

●  A dog at large was reported at 10:27 a.m. in the 500 block of 5th Street. The owner was warned.

●  A dog at large was reported at 2:44 p.m. in the 300 block of 12th Street. A warning was issued.

●  Barking dogs were reported at 9:53 p.m. in the 400 block of 15th Street. The dogs were located and taken inside.

On Monday, Nov. 25:

●  Theft was reported at 8:48 a.m. in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

●  Police responded to check welfare at 1:33 p.m. in the 700 block of 7th Street. Contact was made with the resident and everything was fine.
