Darlington Police

DARLINGTON — Bobby O. Parker, 48, Darlington, was arrested on a Lafayette County warrant at 5:58 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4.

●  Josue A. Velazquez-Grajales, 26, Darlington, was arrested for driving with a revoked license at 1:02 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, following a traffic stop on East Louisa Street. He was booked at the jail, then released.

●  Kyle A. Brunkow, 39, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of operating while intoxicated at 9:38 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8, following a traffic crash on Clay Street. He was also cited for inattentive driving and unsafe lane deviation.

●  Diane Smith-Hole, 63, Darlington, was cited for a property maintenance ordinance violation at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, following a complaint by the City of Darlington’s Building and Zoning inspector for a property on Division Street.


Monroe Police

MONROE — Officers responded for a welfare check at a residence in the 2100 block of 16th Avenue at 4:18 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8. Investigation led to the arrest of James W. Rupnow, 72, Monroe, on a charge of bail jumping for violating court orders prohibited alcohol consumption. He was also charged with resisting arrest and jailed pending court.

●  Ariel R. Altmann, 19, Monroe, was arrested on charges of possessing THC and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop in the 2100 block of 9th Street at 7:29 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11. Altmann was also cited for driving without a valid license, and after booking, released pending court.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — On Sunday, Dec. 8:

●  Deputies responded at 5:22 p.m. to a disturbance reported at a residence in the N600 block of Twin Grove Road, Town of Jefferson. Investigation resulted in Gary D. Moore, 61, Monroe, being cited for disorderly conduct and malicious destruction of property. He was arrested on a Grant County warrant and taken to the jail, where he was released after bond was posted. In addition, Robert L. Moon, 76, Brodhead, was cited for disorderly conduct and non-registration of an automobile, and Barbara A. Moon, 75, Brodhead, was cited for trespassing to land.

●  Timothy J. Huffman, 31, Brodhead, was arrested on a charge of battery after deputies responded at 8:03 p.m. to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the N2500 block of County GG, Town of Decatur. Huffman was taken to the jail, where he was booked and released pending court. Brodhead police assisted with the investigation.

●  Alicia D. Parr, 28, Monroe, was arrested on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections hold at the Green County Probation and Parole Office at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11. She was jailed.

DARLINGTON — On Sunday, Nov. 24:

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 3:01 a.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy came upon a disabled vehicle at 4:18 a.m. on Wis. 81 in Shullsburg.

●  Suspicious activity was reported at 4:39 a.m. on East Main Street in Benton.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a welfare check at 6:22 a.m. on West Catherine Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 8:21 a.m. on South Broad Street in Argyle. Argyle EMS assisted on scene.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 9:59 a.m. on Jennings Road, Town of Wiota.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 1:53 p.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy assisted Darlington police with a report of suspicious activity at 4:01 p.m. on Wisconsin Street in Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 5:03 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Kendall. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office assisted on scene.

●  A juvenile problem was reported at 5:35 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  An injured animal in the roadway was reported at 5:58 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:10 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A traffic hazard of mud on the roadway was reported at 11:17 p.m. on Walnut Road, Town of Darlington.

On Monday, Nov. 25:

●  A deputy responded to assist the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources at 7:05 a.m. on County Shop Road, Town of Darlington.

●  An animal injured in the roadway was reported at 7:33 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded at 8:02 a.m. to West Water Street in Shullsburg to assist Shullsburg police with a commercial alarm.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 9:21 a.m. on East Milwaukee Street in Argyle.

●  A 911 misdial was reported at 10:35 a.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A traffic complaint of mud on the roadway was reported at 11:45 a.m. on King Road, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A deputy responded at 1:05 p.m. to Wis. 78, Town of Blanchard, to assist the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office with a complaint of livestock on the roadway.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 1:09 p.m. on Railroad Avenue in Blanchardville.

●  A deputy responded to keep the peace at 5 p.m. on Railroad Street in Gratiot.

On Tuesday, Nov. 26:

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 6:50 a.m. on County I, Town of New Diggings.

●  A deputy responded at 10:47 a.m. to Galena Street in Argyle to assist Monroe police with a welfare check.

●  Livestock on the roadway was reported at 1:07 p.m. on County F, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Trespassing was reported at 1:27 p.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  A civil dispute was reported at 3:10 p.m. on County G, Town of Willow Springs.

●  A traffic hazard of hay bales in the roadway was reported at 6:09 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Argyle.

●  Disorderly conduct was reported at 8:46 p.m. at a residence on East Main Street in Benton. A woman and two men got into a physical domestic altercation. The woman was taken to a hospital. The case is being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for possible charges. The Wisconsin State Patrol, Benton First Response, Hazel Green EMS and Cuba City and Shullsburg police assisted deputies on scene.

●  Deputies responded to check welfare at 10:29 p.m. on School Street, Town of Gratiot.

On Wednesday, Nov. 27:

●  A deputy responded at 4:23 a.m. to Miner Way in Shullsburg for an alarm.

●  Alexandra J. Ferrari, 20, Steward, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 1:09 p.m. on County W, Town of Gratiot.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 1:38 p.m. on County XX, Town of Belmont.

●  Brady S. Card, 19, Beloit, was cited for speeding at 1:39 p.m. on Wis. 81, Town of Seymour.

●  A dog bite of a child was reported at about 6 p.m. at residence on West Center Street in South Wayne. The dog will be put down.

●  A cat bite was reported at about 6 p.m. at another residence on West Center Street in South Wayne.

●  Ethan T. Urbanski, 21, Libertyville, Illinois, was cited for speeding at 6:36 p.m. on Wis. 11, Town of Gratiot.

●  Melanie A. Davis, 43, Darlington, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign at 6:36 p.m. on County F, Town of Darlington.

●  A deputy responded to check welfare at 11:39 p.m. on County E, Town of Shullsburg.

●  Joseph L. Zenz, 54, Lancaster, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance at 6:16 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington.

●  Cynthia E. Stowers, 62, Wauwatosa, was cited for speeding at 9:21 a.m. on Wis. 23, Town of Willow Springs.

●  Andrew W. Wilson, 28, Freeport, was cited for speeding at 11:26 a.m. on County W, Town of Monticello.
