BRODHEAD — For the week of March 22-28, police performed 25 security checks, 48 citizen assists, 14 assists of other agencies, nine follow-ups to incidents and seven vehicle registrations; responded to eight calls for service and two five traffic stops; and reported 14 EMS calls, one fire call and 22 911 or BEEMS (Brodhead Elderly Emergency Monitoring System) calls. No mental health or detox transports were reported.

On Sunday, March 22:

●  A domestic problem was reported at 12:41 p.m. in the 600 block of East Exchange Street. Police made contact, and the matter was resolved.

On Monday, March 23:

●  A Beloit man, 36, was cited for driving with a revoked license at 10:35 p.m. in the 100 block of East 9th Avenue.

On Wednesday, March 25:

●  A Janesville man, 21, was cited for retail theft at 4:02 p.m. in the 2100 block of 1st Center Avenue.

On Thursday, March 26:

●  A juvenile was cited for a curfew violation at 12:06 a.m. in the 2200 block of West 5th Avenue.

●  A barking dog was reported at 4:10 p.m. in the 1300 block of West 4th Avenue. A warning was issued.
